Soft, Thick, and So Easy to Work With!
This yarn is everything you want for chunky knitting or crocheting! It’s incredibly soft, super plush, and has just the right amount of stretch. I used it to make a hand-knit blanket and it came out so cozy and beautiful. The skeins are a great size and easy to work with, even for beginners. The Smoke Grey color is elegant and versatile. Definitely worth the price for how luxurious it feels!

The yarn equivalent of a warm hug from a marshmallow!
I bought this HOMBYS Black Chunky Chenille Yarn with the innocent intention of making a “small blanket.” What I did not expect was to enter into an emotional relationship with the SOFTEST, FLUFFIEST yarn to ever grace this Earth. If a cloud, a velvet robe, and a baby bunny all had a love child—it would be this yarn. The 8 jumbo pack was the perfect amount for my blanket. Not too much, not too little—just right. (Yes, I basically Goldilocks’ed my yarn stash.)Hand knitting with this stuff felt like petting a friendly yarn monster that only wants to be your best friend. I now understand why cats try to live in yarn baskets—because frankly, if I could shrink myself down, I would move into this blanket and pay rent.Bonus: The deep black color gives it a sleek, stylish vibe. So not only am I cozy—I’m also mysterious and sophisticated. Like a villain in a spy movie, but cuddlier.Highly recommend. 12/10. Would knit again. 🧶🖤

Did everything I needed it to!
I wanted to crochet a chunky blanket for my sister for Christmas and decided to go with a giant hook and giant yarn. While it was tough to get the hang of using a big hook (T-30, 30 mm hook), this yarn was easy to work with while I was getting the hang of it and I’m so glad it wasn’t stretchy. You’ll need to keep your tension looser than normal if you end up using a hook! The yarn is so soft. Perfect texture for a blanket. I used an easy pattern (1 row double crochet, 1 row slip stitch) and it ended up looking like it was harder than it was. It worked up quickly (I had to redo quite a few stitches though so it evened out the timeline 😂). I loved the color I chose! The yarn came in vacuum packed bags which was convenient - tip: only open each bag as you need more yarn. Less stuff everywhere! The smell wasn’t too bad, in fact, I don’t remember being repulsed at all. Good value for the money. If I had bought these elsewhere, I probably would have had to drop more money to make a blanket. That said, this comes with 8 skeins of yarn. It’s enough to make a lap blanket. Perfect for reading, sitting, etc. and for a few simple tassels. Covers you from the waist down, basically. Looks cute on a couch or on the end of a bed.:) But too small for covering your whole body to take a nap on the couch. 😂 I’d recommend either buying additional single skeins to make it a tad bigger, or buy 16 total if you want ensure that it’ll cover someone’s whole body. My sister loved it as a gift and didn’t think it was too small so if you can’t buy more, you’ll likely be ok.:) Hope the photos help you get a better idea of the sizing!

The color is gorgeous!
I’m very happy with this yarn and made some lovely chunky knit blankets. Washable and easy to work with. These worked up relatively quickly and were very soft and thick.

Consistency of yarn purchased at separate times
Know this the yarn consistency is not always the same. The first picture is the multi pink I purchased first by itself and it’s feels wonderfulThe ivory I bought to start a second project is not the same consistency as the pinkThe second picture is the first pink I purchased to the right or bottom (not sure how this will post) these two pinks are identical in color but not consistency. The third picture is the ivory with the second pink I purchased and these two yarns must be from the same lot perhaps because they are the same consistency.Anyone that is in the yarn, thread or fabric world will understand this and I hope it helps.*** Will I purchase this again ? I’m sure I will it’s much much nicer and less expensive than Bernat But I have more research to do on Lion Brand

Very Cozy
This green yarn? Stunning. The color is soft, calm and somehow makes me feel like I should be crocheting in a cottage surrounded by moss and good vibes. It’s soft, doesn’t split, and works up super smoothly—whether you’re making a chunky blanket, a funky little frog, or a gift for your grandma (or yourself, let’s be real).Would I buy it again? YES

Very soft and good quality
I would definitely call this Hot Pink! Yarn is SUPER SOFT and worth the price. It does require tight hand knitting so 8 makes a throw size blanket. I will buy again!
