Spray fine is so fine!
I used this gun to paint a 1973 corvette in a home built garage spray booth. First time ever to paint a car or ever use a spray gun. I was very, very pleased with the gun and the results.Air supply was a home made job built from a vac motor. I'm cheap and like projects like this. There are plans and discussions on doing this on the internet if you are interested. From a time standpoint, I probably should have simply bought a commercially available turbine system but mine worked without a problem.Epoxy primer was from Southern Polyurethane, Inc (SPI). White single stage paint was also from SPI. Excellent products and company by the way.The original metal canister that came with the gun leaked at the lid. I contacted spray fine and they sent me a replacement. I ended up going with the 3M disposable liner system purely for convenience of cleanup.I think the key to any paint job is to practice on a few scrap items to get comfortable with the system, fan pattern, settings, etc. One thing I like about this gun is there another are not a variety of settings. I shot everything with the fan wide open and the needle out about one and a quarter full turns. Occasionally I would adjust the needle but that was about it. This worked fine for my application and the products I was shooting but you should experiment for committing to the actual project.I had some pretty severe problems with orange peel earlier in the project but realized this was 100% operator error. I was very afraid of runs so I was moving too fast and not putting down enough paint for it to flow together into one coat. Now having shot 4 layers of primer and 3 layers of paint on the car, I would walk a mile to go out of my way to deal with one or two runs versus wet sand a bunch of orange peel out. In my very limited experience, don't be afraid to really lay on the paint product. Being careful and addressing a run or two with a razor blade and then some wet sandpaper is not a problem at all. Watch a few YouTube videos it's not that bad.The two times I had to contact spray fine their customer service was off the charts good. Very responsive, answer my questions, even sent me some replacement updated parts for free.I'm already looking forward to the next project to use the paint gun again. I just wish they sold a smaller detail gun too.

It’s Now My Primer Gun
**Edit** 1 year later Sept 2020. This is now my primer gun. I ended up having slight texturing on my painted surfaces (I used this in base coat/clear coat applications). I tried everything from thinning to increase fan size etc. and nothing helped. I was pulling my hair out with it. I ended up buying the Fuji T75G and it is amazing compared to my sprayfine gun. I will no longer use this for my color coats due to poor atomization. The spray pattern between the two is the difference between a chainsaw and a scalpel. I use a Sprayfine 4 stage turbine HVLP unit.Note: If you plan to buy the 3M H/O PPS system you’ll need the #2 adapter. It cut my time for cleaning the gun from 10-20 min down to 3 min!

Excellent spray gun at a very reasonable price
I was searching for a gravity feed gun for my older Fuji Q4 turbine. Not really wanting to spend $300 for a Fuji or Apollo spray gun, I decided to give the Sprayfine a try. It's a great gun. The fit and finish is excellent and it sprays like a dream. I'll be ordering a couple more in the near future. Also, I had a question and Phil got back to me right away, so I can add awesome customer service to my purchase experience.

Good for the price
Good gun for the price but as someone else mentioned it leaks at the connection between cup and gun. Sprays pretty decent.

Works great
Love it. If you are in the market and considering Fuji gun at least consider this one. Works wonderfully and easier to clean than Fuji.

Charged $75 for return restocking fee
The product listing does not provide enough information. When I received the gun I discovered the fan control was on the spray nozzle and was not happy with that . I returned the product unaware of the $75 restocking fee.I wished I had done a little more research and that the company was more upfront about the details and repercussions of returning there products
