IT IS NOT DEFECTIVE
When I first added water nothing would come out. It took 30 seconds on Google to figure out how to properly use it. There's nothing wrong with it. You have to pull out on the bite to unlock it so water can flow. Very simple. Pull it out and rotate it to adjust water flow. It works and doesn't leak. The other comments were just people who didn't want to do 30 seconds of research. Good thing these aren't the people running NASA.

It leaks..
The cap has NO rubber seal inside of it, so it leaks even when it's screwed on tightly. I do not recommend buying this product at all. Save your money and buy something better.
