Problem Solver
I have a spout that drains into a large mulch bed. Every time we got a heavy downpour, mulch was displaced. This device solved the problem by catching the rain water and draining it out past the mulch. I highly recommend it!!

Works Great!
I bought these right before hurricane Helene because I just spent $3500 on a parking pad made of crushed concrete number 57 around the back Of my porch side of my house. My downspouts on each side of my porch were a concern about washing my new rocks away even though they're packed down because of the hurricane. I live 40 miles from Cedar Key as the crow flies so I'm not right on the water but We get lots of wind and rain during hurricanes. When I was reading the reviews on these and the questions, I saw that some people had a hard time connecting the hose and at first, I thought it wasn't going to screw on right. I went back and looked at the Instructions, and they went right on easily. I dug down in my rocks a little bit to get the pans under my downspouts and pulled one hose straight across the rocks and the other out to the side away from them. I put the end of the hoses on the little water channels that were under the downspouts And put a brick on top of the tube to hold it in place and I put a brick a few inches in front of the opening of the tube in the channel to help keep water erosion from happening on my yard by slowing down the water. I also Secured the hoses down with lawn ornament wire Stuck in the ground over them just to make sure they didn't go flying back-and-forth in the hurricane. I evacuated and came Back five days later and everything was Right where I left it And my rocks weren't washed away where the water would've been spewing out of the gutter going across them with Hurricane rain and wind. I also didn't have a water erosion problem because I put a block in front of the Hose as mentioned earlier. These are good for me for the purpose I bought them for. Money well spent.

This just might be a 5 stars item! Waiting for the rain.
I’m giving it 4 stars for now. I have it set up under an area of our gutter that overflows and then runs under the house. Attaching the hose to the base was a struggle but I figured it out after reading the instructions a few times. Haha! You have to be persistent. I tested it for leaking in the house before I took it outside. Between house and yard it came apart but it didn’t leak or drip. 5 stars for that. Hooking the hose back up wasn’t hard either. Evidently I figured out the trick to getting it attached. 5 stars for me! It’s going to start raining again, Pacific NW, tomorrow so we’ll see what happens. I’m a little excited to see. I’ll update either way. If it doesn’t work, I’ll clean it up and send it back but I’m fairly certain it’ll kick butt on the rain.

Very efficient way to move water away from foundation.
My husband installed these immediately after receiving. They are very effective in directing the water away from your house! He said he would order more AND recommended them to his Aunt who also ordered them!

Good but needs improvement.
Great idea in theory, but every thing must be set up precisely, not be moved so all water drains out and does not collect in side, if tilted. Hose attachment could be improved, as it pulls out easily and I had to put 2 tight zip ties around it to hold it on. Otherwise I like it.

DO NOT BUY! Wrong sized pipe!
Utter garbage that will go in a landfill. The pipe was not the correct size for the basin. Basin is very small. Glad I got a refund from Amazon, not happy that I threw it right in the trash.

Connector tips
For all the people frustrated. You are right. Start by turning it clockwise then turn it counter clockwise to attach the connector. Keep turning counter clockwise until its fully around the male connector
