Global Immitation has all the Quality!
Don't be fooled by the look of this knife. This little miracle is light as a feather, which reduces the strain of using heavy or thicker knives to do you're cutting. It came razor sharp and has held it's edge from day one. I have put this thing through it's paces with over a week of constant Panini, Hoagie and frozen bread slicing and it still maintains the edge it had as when I first opened the box.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the packaging. It was packaged in a simple box with flaps and only had a slim plastic clear cover on the blade. Even though it is a sturdy knife, the packaging leaves one to imagine that this could easily have turned into a purchasing nightmare if the packaging gave out and the blade came bent.All around though, Zhen has provided me a wonderful low cost alternative to the expensive Wusthof and Global bread knives and has given me the equal quality I needed.

just what you expected from japanese knife :-)
It's really sharp and good quality. Has perfect balance and weight. It's light so that means less fatigue for your hand. And it's budget friendly :-)

Great knife set piece

Great product...one problem.
Great knife. Have complete set. Product is awesome with one small caveat. This product line is designed for tiny little hands. Prolonged use will redult in a very sore index finger.
