Small and light, easy to use. Worked for my PS4 and for my MacBook Pro as a back up.Unfortunately cannot be used for both things at the same time i.e you have to wipe the storage when changing its function. Probably pretty obvious to most people but not me lol

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Connect to PC and instantly start to store/transfer files. Light and easy to carry with a large capacity for the price. Recommended for anyone looking for a backup/storage drive.

Fantastic bit of kit. Lightweight, easy to use and powered directly from the USB port so that you don't need any external power supply. The USB 3.0 connection means that data transfer is quick and if like me you want it for holding films and music then you don't get any buffering. The best value for storage capacity I could find. I went for the 1.5tb which is the perfect size for me, I like the unit it is small and looks neat on my console.Also, to the seller's credit, they bypassed the Amazon shipping and just sent me this through DPD. I'm writing this at time of COVID19, the Amazon delivery time suggested it would arrive in over 2 weeks, took 2 days with DPD 👍.

This is a late review, but one you must read. I implore you to avoid this external hard drive like the plague, it will only bring you disappointment. I purchased the drive just over a year ago, I'm not very happy as I plugged it in the other day, and it was not recognized on my machine. I could hear a clicking noise coming from the drive. Things started to go wrong a month before, when I created a file to put music in, and when I returned to it, it said the file was empty, and it would not let me access it. Clearly there is a fault with the drive. I have lost all my music, everything, I am so upset, I have been in a mood all week because of it. I thought western digital was a brand I could trust to safely store my files, how wrong could I be. The first hard drive I ever bought, unbranded, is still going strong and it must be over 15 years old. Why has this sophisticated one from WD only limped past the year mark? To make matters worse, I wrote to WD for advice, and they ignored me. Avoid.
