Only jump leads you ever need to buy again!
all im going to say is: buy these! I read the reviews before hand and this dude said he uses them on his big rigs going from mainland UK to Russia. so yeah, that's all the info I needed.they are thick cables and span a few metres - perfect as every car is designed to have the batteries in the opposite side to the car you are using. These will last a lifetime and pack up compact in the carry bag (not great quality). It is worth noting that the clamps are very heavy duty, so will last, but are also harder to manage/fit in hard to reach places (but batteries are normally easy to get too).Recomended.I have started 20+ cars with these and never had a problem.

Good quality clamps but 800 amp rating is probably wishful
The clamps are well designed and look like they'll not crack in the cold. Being all metal, I'll need to make sure they don't corrode but the clamps have excellent grip and good force to make a good contact on any terminal. When I got these, I looked at the termination of the leads in the clamp and was satisfied.I bought some 200 amp rated leads elsewhere which have heavier cables (larger cross sectional area of the conductor). I re-examined these clamps and realised that the leads are doubled over at termination so they look heavier than they are. These still have a place in starting cars in awkward situations where you can't park as close to the other car as you'd like.

JIMBO SEAL OF APPROVAL
I have purchased these as I have recently had 2 flat batteries and whilst Green Flag have turned up within the house, its very inconvenient so I thought I'd invest in a set of jump leads as a precaution so I have not actually used them yet. I have seen people stubble in the past getting another vehicle close enough to access the battery so opted for a long set, was going to buy a 4m set but the saw for £1.50 more I could go for 6m. I can now jump start from the other side of the road. The clamps are strong and made of metal though out (no plastic handles) and have thick insulated handles. Cables are again thickly insulated but surprisingly flexible. Rolled up ready to go. Hopefully will never need them. Jimbo Seal of Approval

Worth buying.
A very useful addition to the toolkit; long enough to connect batteries for cars packed end to end rather than side by side. Heavy duty with thick leads and good quality clamps. Got the car started very easily and rated at 800 amp ideal for the larger engined vehicles. At under £20 good value. Should last many years.

Long and capable of restarting a big battery
The cables are long and capable of restarting a big battery, only minor concern is the cable connection to the clamps, some of the copper wire was sticking out ( a few strands) it's done the job tho and hopefully lasts.

Brilliant leads and quick delivery
Brilliant jump leads that appear to be very strong and solid and did the job easily and quickly. Delivery was exceptionally quick. The extra length was essential as my car had died facing a garage door and normal length leads could not reach. For the cost involved it makes so much sense to have a set of these as opposed to the shorter versions. Very pleased.

Decent thickness cables and strong clamps but mediocre build quality
I read a load of the rave reviews and when I received these cables, I was a little disappointed by the build quality.Check my photos - there's no strain relief at all, so the ultra-thick plastic insulation (why is it that thick? Has no reason to be) puts a lot of bending force on the conductors - right where they're crimped into the croc clips. After repeated use, the strands will quickly fatigue and snap. To mitigate this, I put a double-layer of heatrshink (Raychem 3/4" and 1") over the termination. How did I get heatshrink past the croc clips, you ask? I cut the cable in half! These things are 6m long, which while useful for starting vehicles that are not right next to each other; it makes for a VERY heavy and FAT bundle of wire. Take up a lot of space in your boot, and why lug that extra weight around? I bought another set of (inferior) croc clips from CPC and made up two sets of jump leads out of this one. My boys will be getting them for Christmas and I've bought myself a set of 4m jump leads instead: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CWFC9LO.The croc clips are very good - really thick metal and a strong spring. The plastic hand grips fall off quite easily though - I had to tape mine on with PVC tape. Also, I noticed that on one of the cables, one of the crimp terminations had been made with less than half the bundle of strands in it, so it was completely loose! I fixed that by soldering it.To finish, I'll say that I think the wire they used is actually CCA, not copper (Google for CCA or Copper-Clad Aluminium). I suspect this because a) copper is quite expensive, and b) when you cut this cable, the cut ends are silver in colour - not pink!

flimsy tiny bag, but great cables
Good strong clips, and good heavy-duty cable. Still not as long as I'd hoped, but I'm sure it's as long as it said, so can't complain! The only downside I'd say is the supplied bag/case: (a) the clear front looks rather fragile, and (b) I doubt I'll ever get them coiled back tightly enough to get them back into it! However, if it hadn't come with _any_ bag, it'd still be a good set of cables.
