I have been using essential oils for a number of years now, and have tried a couple of different brands. This 30ml vanilla essential oil is really nice. I use the essential oil in my diffusers, and also use it to refill and mix with other essential oil fragrances to create my own smells for the cartridge bottles in our Febreze plug-in. The vanilla essential oil smells like a vanilla pod fragrance to my nose. The bottle comes nicely presented in a box with a dropper that can be used as the cap, which makes it incredibly convenient and easy to use with the diffusers, and even more with the plug-in refill cartridge’s. I am happy with my order and the vanilla aroma.

This lavender oil is produced and bottled in India, It arrives well packaged, in a sealed white cardboard box with gold-coloured text and detail. Inside the box is the 30ml darkened glass bottle of 100% pure lavender oil. It has a sealed screw cap on the bottle, with a small plastic insert that needs to be removed in order to use the oil. You also get a glass pipette with a screw thread. Unless tipping a large amount of this oil into a diffuser, you’ll probably want to replace the screw cap lid with this, as unlike some essential oils, this one doesn’t have a dropper insert in the top of the bottle.I originally ordered this lavender oil to top-up my waterless essential oil diffuser, which is always filled with lavender oil anyway. If that’s what you want this for, I would advise looking at 100ml bottles of oil instead. I particularly like (and recommend) my usual brand of Essican Purelife French Lavender oil for this purpose. It works out to be less than half the cost of this oil per ml. Doing a side by side sniff test, my usual brand smells better and more rounded too. I’m finding the fragrance of this AVD oil to be much more subdued in comparison. When I’m using essential oils as a natural alternative to chemical-filled commercial air fresheners, I want a big, fresh, natural, long-lasting fragrance. This one doesn’t quite deliver that hit in my opinion.Having said that, there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the actual quality of this oil. Once opened, it should be used within 24 months. I find that storing essential oils in the fridge really prolongs their effectiveness and useable life. Rather than using in my diffuser, I will save this one to use for cuts, burns, bites, headaches and household cleaning. It’s a handy size bottle for travel too.
