Love this porch light. Easy to install and the plug is very handy especially for Christmas or Halloween lights. Our old light didn’t have a sensor, so to have the dusk to dawn feature is great.

Loved these lights. Haven't actually used the outlets but wanted the option for future holidays. Installed easily and works perfectly

My only gripe about this, is the fact that the GFCI is wired in to the light in a way that when you turn off the lamp, the GFCI also shuts off. You could work around this by running additional wire from the GFCI through your wall and down to the switch to bypass the switch. I did not have the energy for that, so, my workaround the other way is to just throw a Ring lightbulb in this unit, which I can then connect to my Ring ecosystem and control it that way. I'll be leaving the switch on 24/7 so the GFCI stays on, and the bulb will not activate during the day thanks to the built in photo sensor. In the evening and at night, if I need the light to turn on, I can just activate it via Ring.I REALLY needed at least one source of outside power on this old farmhouse of mine. This was a convenient, easy ticket for that. Very specifically, I wanted to plug in a bug zapper (pictured and also bought from Amazon). The zapper is plugged into a standalone photo sensor plug, so, it will come on at dusk and go off 4 hours later. These two made the perfect pair for me. Come time for fall and the holidays, this will also give me the convenient outdoor power I need to display some Christmas lights.Seems well built and with proper installation, should last a long time. I only wonder about the GFCI because they can burn out. If it's still working five years from now for the price paid, I'll be happy enough.

Recently ordered and installed these new porch lights. We had been considering replacing the ones we had and were led to these because of their additional GFCI outlet. Nice feature that will give us more options when needing power. Install was easy and straightforward. We upgraded the provided bulbs with vintage led Edison bulbs. Like the look. At least one of the pictures in the ad shows an internet symbol above the light. This is a bit misleading. They are not connectable or programmable. There is, however, a photocell sensor on the top which, if you leave power switch on, will turn the light on when it is dark or off when it is light. I like this feature. If you install the light in the daylight like me, just cup your hand over the photocell for the bulb to come on.

I purchased 3 of these as part of a remodel. Things that attracted me were the covered GFCI outlet, and the overall look. I saw reviews that said the light they received did not function in one way or another. I tested all 3 shortly after they arrived and confirmed the outlets both work when the light is on or off (daytime), and the test and reset function of the GFCI works. So long as there is power to the light fixture, the outlets are always on. So when you plug into the outlets (like light strings, or other temporary use), you need to turn the light on to get power to the outlet. If its daytime, the light will stay off, but the outlets are powered. I understood this before buying and its a decent compromise between the outlet always on with no control, and the outlet only on at night when the light on (which I have seen commented for other products).I also like the magnetic closure feature on the outlet. I was concerned some other latch type closure would break over time, but he magnets should last longer than I do.Overall the price was good, the look is good, and it functions as advertised.

So easy to install, works great, looks awesome. Best of all, there's now an outlet in the front of my home for easy & convenient use. Heavier than I expected, very good quality. I love it!
