The computer works. The charging cord did not!
Revised review. The seller stepped up and did the right thing. He reimbursed me for the new cord. The computer itself looks brand new and works wonderfully. I would still recommend buying a charging cord setup simply because the reviews seem to have charger issues as a common theme. It will save you the frustration when the computer arrives.I got the computer and it was completely dead so I put it on the charger and nothing happened. Rather than just send it back, I decided to take it to the asurian store since there's one very near our home. It turned out that the computer was fine, but that the cord was not it was bent up the little connection. Things inside were all bent and broken thankfully, the charging block work as well. It was just a cord so the seller owes me $32 for the new cord I had to buy. if the seller comes through and does the right thing and pays me back for the cord, I had to buy then I'll come back and readjust this review otherwise buyer beware I'd highly recommend if you bought one of his computers you just go out and buy your own charging cord and block ahead of time and have it ready because according to the majority of these reviews, we all get crappy cords

NO ADMINISTRATIVE PASSWORD with my purchase of this laptop! Rendering it USELESS to me!
I purchased this laptop for $741.99 on September 14, 2022. It sat in a drawer for 2 1/2 years as it’s locked to Clover Health LLC and I received no Administrative Password to do anything with this laptop. It is locked to where I can’t use it. I am very disappointed with this purchase. My first and last purchase of a refurbished item. The seller has not responded to my contacting Amazon. Buy at your own risk! I even stated on the phone with Apple in February for hours resetting the whole laptop. We wiped the hard drive clean and reset! Still the laptop is useless and locked to company mentioned above.

FIRMWARE ISSUES! Scam. Don’t waste your money.
This $1500 macbook pro worked fine for 15 months, but now it’s useless. Last month I thought my laptop was stolen and so I quickly locked it. Thankfully, I retrieved my laptop bag, but the macbook would not unlock. Where there is normally an option to unlock, that option was not available. I spent hours on the phone with AppleCare and going into the Apple Store. I am a professional photographer, and all of this happened during one of my busiest months of the year. Needless to say that alone was really inconvenient, let alone the cost of travel back-and-forth to the Apple Store. It’s been weeks, and finally the AppleCare team has told me that this company is not an authorized reseller and they cannot unlock my computer because of that. The only option left is for this company to repair the firmware issue. However, when I contacted them, they told me they won’t do it. Again, this is a firmware issue. This is not a run of the mill repair situation. This means that the “refurbishing” is not legit!! This is not a standard repair due to negligence on my part, it is a programming issue by the company who refurbished it. The lack of support from this company after selling me a defective product tells me that they are just scammers. Don’t take a chance on a huge purchase like this. I made that mistake. As a professional who relies on my computer for my livelihood, I can say this was a huge mistake in trusting this company to sell me a properly refurbished laptop. They said the 30 day return window is closed, and to “take it to Apple”. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!

It basically looked and ran brand new! Only set back was the battery life, been having it for some time now. I don’t regret this purchase.

Very happy with this seller and laptop purchase
I got this renewed laptop for my son's birthday and I cannot be happier a very fair price and the macbook pro from 2018 still runs so nice. I love the light touch keyboard and the led function keys. Only one barely noticeable blemish hence the excellent condition rating perfect. This seller gave me a very good deal thanks!!

Battery needed replacement, Not worth the purchase.
Product arrived with minimal scratches/ scrapes. Has a scratch on the front part and the "A" key has popped out of place. When I plugged it in and started using it it all went smoothly until I saw the battery icon had a "X" on it. It didn't retain charge without being directly hooked to a power source.I just came back from the Apple store where the employee helped assess the problem which obviously it was that the battery needed replacement. He put in a work order for a replacement but said it might not be possible to get the part due to how old the battery is (2018 model). It'd would have cost another almost $300 if they can even get the part.I'm so disappointed since I paid for the refurbished laptop in great condition yet its core isn't functional. Why even sell it in the first place? I'd skip the purchase, y'all. Now I have to see if I can return it and get my money back so I can just save up a few more hundred for a new laptop from the apple store where I know it'll be functional and have apple warranty.
