This series is great for preteens! It has an engaging storyline that will keep the reader coming back chapter after chapter to see what happens next. Each character has their own unique personality and adds interest to the story. It has some teen romance and rebellion, but nothing out of line. Ultimately, the storyline emphasizes the importance of friendship and family. I highly recommend it!

BEST BOOKS EVER!!!!!!! JUST REREAD THEM! my mom bought them for me and it feels wonderful owning then and not having to wait and wait so long from the library and never call it your book! I know that sounds weird I'm book crazy! :) But AWESOME series and definitely recommend them. I dream I live in Concord and are in the club with them. Everything came in great shape. The only con is that the last book is the LAST book she will make in the series. LOL! But definitely read these. I will be re-reading them to the day I Die

My 11 year old daughter absolutely loved these Books. She read them within 1 week. The actual book set arrived in good condition and the books were beautiful.

My middle school aged daughter and I enjoyed these books. I read each one after she was done. Because she has read Anne of Green Gables and Little Women, that made the first books even more enjoyable. I loved Daddy Long Legs when I was her age, and I hope this series will inspire her to read it and Jane Austen. A good series that deals with middle school issues.

Gave to my daughter for her 10th birthday at the start of 5th grade. She loved them! I didn't read them but skimmed through and appreciated the references to classic literature

My mom bought these books for me for Christmas, the first book was a little slow to get into but as it went on in the series i couldn't put them down.I am 11 years old and they are my absolute favorite books. I would definitely recommend these books to anyone looking for a good book. It was kind of sad when i realized they weren't real and they couldn't be my best friends!! I did think it was a little strange for the girls to have boyfriends and kiss each other... But these books are my favorite!!

I bought this set for my 11 year old daughter because she loves to read. Originally she had no interest in reading them because she didn't choose the books herself. But once I got her to start, she didn't want to put them down. She stayed up late every night and begged to stay up later to continue. She has already asked for the next series in the Mother-Daughter Book Club. :)
