Highly recommend it
The media could not be loaded. This grinder is simple but amazing! The main reason for me to order this over others was a picture of the mung bean flour. I’ve been looking for a grinder which actually grinds mung beans instead of coffee beans the whole time! I decided to buy it immediately whe I saw the picture of mung bean flour. It’s very pricey to buy the mung bean flour from Asian food center. I’ve always wanted to make own mung bean flour! Now I can do it!!!It came with a a grinder cup and a chopper cup. I accidentally lost the cleaning brush but it’s not a big deal! I can use the slow juicer brush to clean this if I need to!I tried the grinder with the pearl barely seeds! I poured them into the grinder cup and put the lid on. Pressed it down for 10-15 seconds as the instruction says. The blades are awesome! They work so fast and my barely seeds became powder pretty quickly! The powders were thin and smooth! It’s perfect to mix with pearl powder to make a face mask!! I am so glad I bought this grinder it makes me life easier!!I highly recommend it! Next time I will try mung beans!

This Does The Job (And Many Don't)
I'm delighted by how easy it is to use and clean this, and how confident I can be in both wet and dry grinding.Admittedly done more of the wet, used to make a couple chutneys (and grind a couple small bits of spice for them), and the results have been lovely. I cook for myself and one or two guests, typically, and the size is perfect, and the price is remarkable given all that.I will say I was able to grind small amounts of cumin seed handily, and I think getting a small amount of spices nicely powdered is perhaps more impressive than doing so to a larger amount, so unless there's a surprise when I try to do more later, I think this speaks well of the dry capacity as well. And I already dropped the plastic cover once, onto a fairly hard floor from a low counter height, and not a scratch! I don't recommend this test (too many variables!), but I've had some covers like this that just took any opportunity to crack or shatter, so that also reassures me.An actual pleasure to use, and the results have been wonderful.

My cheapo KRUPS grinder has more power and better construction! First off
I could tell immediately after opening the package and assembling the product that it was of cheap quality, but I thought I'd give it at least one try, anyway. What a wimpy motor! My cheapo KRUPS grinder has more power and better construction! First off, they advertised the CHULUX product as a wet/dry grinder, but they state in the instructions not to rinse the unit with running water???!!! How is one supposed to clean the unit? From the description I read online, it seemed like the unit would be able to be disassembled for cleaning, but not so. How is it possible to clean under the blades which are very flat and close to the bottom of the grinding/chopping cups? Anyway, all I did was try to grind some walnuts, and it did a very poor job--I was really afraid I would burn out the motor because it was struggling with this simple task. Once I finally got the walnuts somewhat ground up (after much pulsing and waiting, because I didn't want to burn out the poor little thing), I figured I'd test its wet grinding abilities, so I added a bit of vinegar and spices to make a nut spread for crackers, and the unit stalled. I opened the lid and pushed the ingredients back down to the bottom and gave it another go. Start. Stop. Start. Stop. I eventually got a semi-blended spread, but not remotely creamy as I was hoping. Unit got cleaned thoroughly, put back in the box and return label printed! It's crap, I tell you, don't waste your money. I'm still looking for some sort of (small) machine that will act as a wet/dry grinder with lots more power than this CHULUX...if you have suggestions.

Happy so far!
I was somehow expecting a bigger jar, but it turned out to be much smaller. Anyways, I and my spouse had made up our mind to return but we thought of giving it a try. What we were looking for primarily is:- Being able to grind chutneys (Coconut or Cilantro)- Grinding wet almonds- Size for 4 people- Occasional spice grindingHere is my feedback after 7 runs so far (mostly WET).- NOISE: The grinder is NOT too loud to interrupt people watching TV in the nearby living room but not too silent either. (Rating: **** )- SPEED & SHARPNESS: I have been grinding wet almond (+ some water) with some seedless dates in it and it does the job but not the perfect way. I could still see chunks of almonds in the gravy. We have tried both wet coconut chutney and cilantro + chilli chutney and both turned out great. We were not even expecting that nice results.(Rating: ***** )- SIZE: I think if you are looking for a small family or a couple this is the appropriate size. Attached is an image comparing Iphone 7 to the jars. (Rating: ***** )- RUN: We ensured as pointed out in other reviews to not run for more than 20 secs at a time and we stuck to that and faced NO burning smells or anything like that so far. (Rating: ***** )- DESIGN: This is where I feel the product needs improvement. The id of the jar is certainly not designed the best and I have to press hard while grinding to make sure it doesn't spill out on the sides. I wish instead of a glass shaped lid there had been a proper lid. Every time I do wet grinding I can see some water spills and reaching the base causing a worry if liquid seeping inside. (Rating: *** )- CLEANUP: We just rinse out the jar and the lid without much effort. But additional cleanup is required due to the wet grinding spills. (Rating: **** )OVERALL feedback is RECOMMENDED if you are:- wet grinding for chutneys (Indian)- looking for something sufficient for 2-4 people- dry seeds, spices, almond grinding etc- okay to do minor cleanups after wet grindingI will probably update again in 2 months or so.
