We recently added the Kozyard Alexander 12'x16' Hardtop Aluminum Gazebo to our backyard, and it has truly transformed our outdoor space. The galvanized steel double roof canopy not only provides ample shade but also adds a touch of elegance to our patio. The aluminum frame is both sturdy and rust-resistant, ensuring longevity even in various weather conditions.One of the standout features is the included mosquito netting and privacy sidewalls. These additions have allowed us to enjoy evenings outdoors without the nuisance of insects, and the sidewalls offer a sense of seclusion, making our gatherings more intimate.Assembly Tips:The assembly was mostly straightforward, but a few tips helped make the process smoother. First, I recommend having at least two people to help with the assembly, as some parts, especially the roof panels, can be heavy and tricky to handle alone. Secondly, take your time with the instructions and double-check each step before securing anything. Some of the bolts and screws can be a bit tight, so having a power drill with a screwdriver bit on hand makes the process much easier. Lastly, it's helpful to assemble the frame before attaching the roof panels. This makes it easier to align everything correctly.It’s also a good idea to lay out all the pieces before starting, as it helps avoid confusion later on. A few extra sets of hands to hold pieces in place during assembly can speed things up.Overall, the Kozyard Alexander Gazebo has exceeded our expectations, providing both style and functionality to our outdoor living area. It’s become the perfect spot for family gatherings, evening relaxation, and even outdoor meals.

I purchased the 12 X 14 size. It came in 3 boxes without any damage to anything. The delivery driver was very courteous and placed all the boxes in my Garage.I hired a local professional installer, and while I was apprehensive, he installed everything in just over 4 hours by himself. He had installed many of these same Gazebos, and told me in his opinion, they are well constructed.I consider myself handy and I do have all of the right tools, but am very happy I hired a professional to install.It's only been up for a few days and no rain yet so I guess we will see if I have any leaks or not.Overall I am pleased with the order, delivery, and installation process.

Regarding the expediency of delivery, I was astonished that the unit came within 3 days. For something that large of a shipment, I was expecting a week to 10 days. Amazing! It came via UPS and one of the boxes holding the roofing was pretty torn up when it arrived. However Kozyard had the foresight to wrap the panels in an inner box which was not damaged so the double packing was a good forethought.The reason we chose Kozyard over several other similar ones was the reviews on Amazon that this was well manufactured and easy to install. My neighbor who helped another neighbor install their similar unit noted that the Kozyard Pergola was much easier to install and better built. Another neighbor also helped along with my wife. One thing we noticed pretty quickly was the pieces got hot pretty quickly while assembling it in the sun. We get the afternoon shade so the second day we started at 3 PM and finished at 8 PM. Day 1 we started at Noon with the unboxing and with 2 45 minute breaks ended around 8 PM also. The pergola was anchored down on a separate day into concrete with 3 3/4" Wedge Anchors.For the assembly we were able to follow the directions pretty well with the exception of a couple of head scratching areas. We cut the L end off of the allen wrenches and used them in a drill with a clutch to help with the installation. (That would be a great addition to be able to include 2 of those in the package. It helped a lot!). We found the 2 sided tape although a good thought, to be more trouble than it was worth because it stuck to everything (fingers, other parts, to itself, etc) except what it was designed for. We ended up using electrical tape for the plastic parts for the roof and the spacers were put in place by the person below the roof while the person above sent the bolt down the hole. THe person below then hand tightened the nut onto the bolt. (And by the way, we had NO TROUBLE with the nuts and bolts cross threading or anything else like that. They went on very smoothly for hand tightening. However we ended up 6 rubber spacers short and that's the only part where we had some trouble.I went on Amazon to find out what to do and it referred me to your web site. I went into chat and noted that I was missing a few parts. No one replied to the chat even though it was within the notes service hours. I then tried to log a ticket and it looked like I did but I got no response via email acknowledging the logging of the ticket or the fact that it even was taken. So I went back to chat again the next day to see if I could contact someone. When I opened the chat I got a note in large bold capital letters that said my account was LOCKED. Huh? I tried again later and again it said my account was LOCKED (I had given my email and Amazon order number in the chat window to begin. I looked on the web site and there was nowhere that listed a phone number or anywhere else I could talk to a real person. To say the least I was beyond angry at this point. I then looked at the manual again and thankfully there was a phone number on the last page for Customer Service. I called the number and the girl asked for my Amazon order number and what I needed. I told her 6 rubber spacers. They came within 2 days and sent me 10. That's the service I had hoped to get via the web site.That said, the pergola is very nice, great quality, and we hope to get years of enjoyment from it. The neighbor who helped me is even thinking of getting one for himself. We are happy we chose Kozyard for our gazebo!!
