A hassle but way worth it.
Depending on which rims your mountain bike has, the installation will be easy, or very hard. it is recommended buying the installation accessories. Once they're installed properly, it makes the ride feel so much better. It is honestly worth the hassle.

Traction for DAYS!
I love the fact that I can run WAY lower pressure in my tires, especially running 29x2.6's. Currently installed on 32mm wide rims, so I had to get the CushCore Pro to allow for the wide tires but difference between CushCore and no inserts is night and day. I really didn't want to have to pay an additional weight penalty, 2.6" wide tires AND the heavy version of CushCore, but the amount of traction available is definitely worth it! The biggest gripe I have is that the inserts were the biggest pain I have ever had to deal with in terms of bike maintenance. I've seen all of the hacks and cheats and "easy methods" of installing CushCore, but in real life they were a huge pain. I found it a little easier to have one side of the tire on the rim already and then squeeze the CushCore in through the other side of the tire. It's definitely not easy to push the tire bead into the rim channel once the CushCore in on the rim so I got as much of the tire on the rim before dealing with the CushCore. All said, I would get CushCore again and I would recommend it to anyone who rides mountain bikes. I haven't tried any of the other brands but I'm also a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and I will pay the premium price if the product has a good reputation, CushCore has the reputation that I will gladly pay for. I am just a regular consumer so I don't get hand-outs and I would love for the cost to be lower but until the day comes when CushCore goes on sale I'll still buy at consumer prices.

Install was...
Install was easy after following directions and using soapy water. The second wheel took less than 5 minutes. Cant vouch for its functionality yet, but in terms of install, soapy water made it a breeze. I will say that injecting sealant was rough on one of the wheels, and I am not sure if that was due to some orientation of the air holes on the installed stem, but the other tire drank the sealant no issues.

Hard to install but worth it!
I have broken a few wheels and had a lot of pinch flats. I have tried other inserts and they all failed me. I did get a 2 inch pinch flat while using these on a downhill run, but it saved my wheel! I will take a little walk and replace a $80 tire all day long vs buying new wheels. Granted Enve warranties everything it just takes awhile a month plus without a wheel. When installing stretch them and put the tire on one side first then insert. When you put the other side of the tire on make sure to slip it under and in the rim well all the way! It's way easier when you do this. Use their valve stems or something similar.

Love these things!
I installed this on my 2021 Delano, Peak, and I absolutely love it! I haven’t noticed the weight that much, but being able to run significantly lower tire pressures has dramatically improved the ride quality especially on technical descents.

Hard to install
Watch install videos I stretched the casing of my tire. Creating a bubble or what looks like a bent wheel installing the tire over the cush core.

Installation is a pain, but it's worth it
I knew when I bought them that installation was going to be a bear, and it was, but a few rides later...I'm impressed. Supple and stable, these smooth out small bumps, make large drops and rock gardens less jarring, and increase responsiveness in corners making my 29er feel snappy and fast.My best advice is to follow their instructions for installation. Once you get the first one done, you know how it's done and the second one is a bit easier. Don't use brand new tires when you install them, and have a cold one close for when you get really frustrated. Plenty of YouTube install videos to watch. Trust me though, It'll all be worth it.
