solar panel literally doesnt work

Great unit on the surface... testing and results to come
Absolutely superb product (thus far)! Solid build quality and feels substantial in the hand. Flash light is VERY bright and the dimming function works great (once you figure out how to use it -- no instructions were included). I plan to take this on my camping trip next weekend to charge my usb fan, iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2 and bluetooth speaker. I'll update my review with charging times for each device and how quickly it recharges via solar. I get the feeling, however, it's going to be a very slow solar charge as it took over 5 hours to charge the unit half way via USB 3. Lastly, I couldn't use the included cable. At only 4" long, it simply wasn't long enough to reach my USB port. I wanted to give this product 3.5 stars (for the lack of directions and an adequate cord compounded by the very long USB charge time) but sadly, Amazon doesn't allow half stars.

Only reason I gave it 3 stars is the unit ...
Only reason I gave it 3 stars is the unit had a large scratch on the solar panel side, other than that it works okay.
