Good Night, Baby Moon: A bedtime tale about the moon Board book – Picture Book, September 5, 2017

I purchased this for my 8 month old grandson, his eyes lit up and he, of course, tried to eat it as all babies try to put EVERYTHING in their mouths! An adorable short story (perfect for this age and their attention span), only several pages but an adorable story. The BIG, bright moon lighting up on the front of the book is amazingly entrancing to his sense of vision and he seems to love it! With the excellent quality of this book it should be around for him to take when he goes to college...ha ha ha!!!

My 1.5 year old LOVES the moon. I found this book and he loves it. Yes it is short, like a lot of the other reviews say. So what? We have some long books and some short ones, and he LOVES this short one. Sometimes when a book is “short”, you can just point out other things on the pages like the rabbits etc. and talk about the pictures. you don’t have to just read the words. Great book.

The book arrived in good shape (despite being marked as Used). Unfortunately the glowing moon is only for the front cover - but that’s on me for assuming the glow would be throughout the board book pages. The story is cute, shows the phases of the moon, and explains that the moon will return. Super simple (not sciency, if you’re looking more science-geared, not the book for you) and great for babies.

Darling but but first one i ordered did not light up and a replacement sent. Well..........I did receive the replacement which did indeed work HOWEVER before I put the defective one in a mailing envelope both sets of grandkids came over and they all wanted the book. So we did a drawing for which set got the one that lit up and who got the book which did not work. So both books (working and not working) ended up finding homes. Please go ahead and bill me for the 2nd book as I did not return the defective copy. I did not respond as I knew that is what you were going to do upon failure to receive the defective book and I had given it away---which proves fancy gadgets and special effects are not always necessary. Thank you for contacting me. I would appreciate a reduction in price for the defective book but I know you do not have proof of that and I did not hold up my end of the bargain by returning the one which did not work.Susan Parker-England

Bought for my grandson for his 2nd birthday. He LOVES it! It’s a very short hard cardboard book, shorter than I expected but he turns each page over and over pointing at the moon, even saying “crescent moon” and points to it. The moon on the cover is the only one that lights up which I knew from other reviews. It’s a big hit with him!

The book is beautiful!!! I didn't know the cover lights up!....which was like a super awesome surprised. The ILLUSTRATIONS are gorgeous!! The 4 stars is only because It was torn. The cover around the moon was torn a little but I put tape and kept it.

The concept of pressing the button and the moon lighting up is good.There is very little content-not enough pages in the book.The illustrations are monotone.

I bought this book to teach my kindergartener about the different phases of the moon. It has a full moon, a half moon, a new moon, and a crescent moon. It is a very short and easily understandable book. His favorite part about the book is the cover which lights the moon up by a press of a button. Great book for teaching young kids about the moon.
