Didn't last long
Not sure if my pad had some problem, but this transformer only lasted about two weeks and it died. To be fair, the keypad was a good 25 years old, so I replaced it with a wireless one.

Electrician wanted.
I think it would work very well. However it did not come with an electrician. Did manage to do an emergency repair on my old transformer so can open my garage door. Thanks for good delivery servicr.

Works great, after replacing my old one, then my door opens up consistent now.

Look to the transformer first, if the keypad isn't working
Outside keypad stopped working, replaced it and still didn't work, so I tested the output voltage from the transformer and it was high. Replaced it with this transformer and the system works fine now.
