Couldn't get it it work with Amazon Prime content
I purchased this specifically to play Amazon Prime videos from my Iphone to my TV. It displays any non-video content but as soon as you start to play a video, it goes black on phone and tv. Upon reading more online, it sounds like the only one that will work for Amazon Prime video is the Apple Lightening to HDMI.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU EXPECT IT TO WORK AS DESCRIBED
This cable DOES NOT WORK. What is misleading is that it only works once, then fails. I bought it for a talk about iphones and ipads that I give periodically at my retirement home to demonstrate to other elderly how to use their i-devices. This is done in an auditorium using either a large screen TV or a ceiling-mounted projector. This is a professional installation. It worked ok the first time I used it, but then on the last time I had set up a tech lecture on Apple devices it did not work. I had purchased an almost identical product, except for the name on it and some minor differences and both of the devices failed after one use. Both failed after it was too late to return them to Amazon.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU EXPECT IT TO WORK AS DESCRIBED.There is no option for zero stars or I would have given it a 0.

Does it work? Yes Does it work for what we all intended it for? No. This product works and works very well if you only want to project/display your screen. It doesn't work for why we all bought it to simply and easily show movies from our phones onto other displays (i.e. Screens, projectors, incar entertainment) So for now back to the old standby cell phone hot spot and media stick.

Don’t buy if you want to project Netflix, Hulu, etc
It was my own fault for not reading through the full description. If your plan is to project Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime from your iPhone or iPad onto this projector, this will only give you audio - no video. I have no other use for it, so I can’t speak on its other benefits.

The worst product I ever bought from amazon. Amazon please check who sells here. This product doesn’t even started working it only got HOT like BURNING and thats pretty much what it does....get hot thats it. NOT WORKING I have an Iphone 7 Plus and is not functional. Tried with Iphone 6 didn’t work. Ipad mini the same.... DONT BUY THIS

This iPhone to HDMI Cable is so good. It was built with high-quality material. It worked right away out of the box. I plugged one end into my iPhone and the HDMI end into the TV's HDMI port. The USB end needed to be plugged into the TV's USB port. Then I picked the correct HDMI input on my TV, the iPhone screen was mirrored onto my TV screen. I could watch on TV a high-definition video played on my iPhone. It was that easy!

Can't stream
This product mirrors your phone but it cannot stream. It kinds renders this useless in my opinion. I do not really see how this benefits me outside of youtube and a few choice apps that do not block streaming on this device.I wasted my money for that purpose.
