I think it’s great.
It is just a very simple, well laid out method of keeping my watercolor record of pure colors, and keeping track of special mixes. Easy to use, plenty of room to show colors and their washes. The spaces/lines for notes were not particularly spacious, but adequate to label the color name, the color pigment(s) and transparency, light fastness, and permanence.Seems sturdy enough, although mine will live in the house and won’t see any road trips.A couple of others complained about the quality of the paper, suggesting that it pilled easily, and other horrific things.I found it just the opposite. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the paper quality was. It had a nice texture about equal to Winsor & Newton or Arches cold pressed, 100% cotton rag (which this product is). It took water evenly for washes without a bunch of buckling. My watercolors ( Sennelier “L’Aquarelle, and Winsor & Newton Pro) flowed out nicely, and the paper grabbed the color very well.Granted, I try not to do a lot of scrubbing but when I did it didn’t seem to have any apocalyptic effects. At the price point, it would be nice to have 3-4 more pages, but I don’t at all feel cheated. The clear sheets between pages help keep things nice and clean, and prevent excessive water/washes from staining the sheet below. Pages are removable, if so desired.I purchased 4 of these, and I’m happy I did.

Great resource - Highly pleased with quality and layout!
The paper quality is quite good. There is adequate space for any notes you may want to make. The ability to remove and replace each page of the chart is a great design feature. The translucent paper between each chart is a nice feature as it prevents color rubbing off.I wish I had given a bit more thought to layout - in my case it would have been good to separate my pan palettes from my tube palette colors, rather than grouping them together simply by color. Different painters will have different preferences depending on usage.

It's here that "Turquoise Tempest" meets "Sunset Bliss," a diary of hues that tells the story of your artistic journey. But the pièce de résistance? A sheet of vellum nestled between each page, a silent guardian against the bleed-through battles. It's like having an invisible cloak for your creations, ensuring the only surprises are the ones you create intentionally.Using this notepad is like having a backstage pass to the workings of your palette. It's an encyclopedia of your creativity, a library of your luminosity. For anyone looking to keep track of their color conquests, this pad isn't just useful; it's a muse in and of itself.

Nice To Inventory Colors
This item provides a method to keep your paints and pencil colors organized, and provides a good reference when choosing colors. Especially nice for beginners who do not immediately recognize an actual color of watercolor pencil and pans as the dry and diluted colors are different. Pages are 9" x 12", 100% cotton, spiral bound and have a vellum slip sheet between each page. I will definitely purchase another as my inventory grows.

Great book, but…
I love this book. The only complaint I have is there are not replacement pages available to buy. Artists are always changing or adding paint colors and brands of paint. The pages in this book come out easily and new ones can be added. However, replacement pages are not available. I had to buy a new book to have extra pages.Otherwise, this would be 5 stars.
