Worked out well, buy if you take off intake
Some folks don't want to replace this when they take off their intake manifold and I suppose if you rarely drive it maybe that would work for you. I personally will replace items such as this one... the old one was quite old (15years and original to vehicle) and indented. I felt the security of knowing the job was done well with a quality part would provide peace of mind for sometime to come. I would buy this again.Single star ding on the install... while this is not the hardest of installs, there are a ton of little parts and other items that could break. thus the slight "ease of install" star removal.

This is a good part and sealed well
I replaced this with my knock sensor and the plastic clips made it easy to install and I had no issues with this gasket. The previous owner of my vehicle hyd installed the fel-pro version (2004 silverado 1500 with 5.3L engine). On this vehicles both gaskets would have worked. I think the AC delco one is easier to install though. My engine does not knock for about 15 seconds at startup anymore(it did before even when the knock sensor was not causing a trouble code) I'm not sure if this is because I installed a new knock sensor or if it's the new manifold gasket. The old gasket had some dirt and debris on the gasket surface, so it could have just been dirty. I know that a dealership mechanic had changed the knock sensor before me so they could have gotten dirt on the manifold gasket causing the knock.

Another quality ACDelco product
Had to replace the intake gaskets on our 2003 Tahoe 5.3L (known issue with leakage occurring over time) and these fit/worked perfect. These are the genuine ACDelco 'green' version gaskets. They snapped right on like the OEM and one look will tell you these are clearly superior over the OEM 'orange' gaskets. There are several Youtube videos out there that will help walk you through the process of replacing intake gaskets/knock sensors. It only seems intimidating, but take your time (4+ hrs) and you can do it yourself and save yourself hundreds. In 50+ years of pulling wrenches/busting knuckles I have always trusted ACDelco/Delphi quality products. If you decide to go with another brand....remember, you get what you pay for and you may end up having to have to replace what you just installed.

Fits 05 GMC Sierra
I changed my knock sensors due to water sitting on top of one. I replaced my gaskets while my intake was off because my truck is old and I didn’t want to risk an intake leak. These intake manifold gaskets are just like factory original. No leaks.

This fit my 04 Silverado 2500HD with a 6. ...
This fit my 04 Silverado 2500HD with a 6.0 gas engine perfectly. I had a P0300 code and intermittent rough idle especially when cold. I have put 100 miles on the truck and so far it runs smoother and stronger; no check engine light yet... The old gasket was also a green one which is the newer style but you could see where air intrusion was occurring by the patterns of dirt on the heads. The jury is still out on how long it will last and if i will stay engine light free. I rate the part so far at 5 stars but cant say much for GM's engineering overall. Also a note. this job with standard tools, a fuel line removal tool (3/8") and an inch pound torque wrench will probably take about 3 hours the first time around. Watch a few YouTube videos if this is your first time around taking the intake apart.
