My old egg slicer was old purchased with Green Stamps in the early 80s. Sadly, it broke and it was time to replace it. This slicer is a big boy and can slice eggs and a whole lot more. So far, I've used it for eggs, Spam, cheese and cream cheese, green and black olives, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon. It is sturdy and large enough to handle most softer foods. It is dishwasher safe and doesn't have any hard to clean tiny crevices. The only real downside is that it doesn't easily fit into a standard kitchen drawer when it's not being used. I've resorted to storing it in the pantry.

This is my Spam slicer. Either you love Spam or hate Spam. I did not grow up eating Spam. It is NOT a "mystery" meat. Anyway, always just sliced it with a knife. Using this slicer in much easier. All the slices (except for the ends) are equally thick. Cut it once and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Does not do well with "blocks" of hard cheeses. Glad I finally bought it.

The handle constantly pops out of hinges, otherwise works great. Good for slicing butter sticks as well.

Ironically I don’t eat pork anymore, but this slicer is great! Will use for bananas ☺️

Tried to slice scrapple, it's just to small for that.

Great for slicing Spam two times(once along length, second along width). I would imagine that a third cut could be done to make cubes.

I eat a lot of spam and this slices it to perfection every time. I wash it in the dishwasher.

Can not slice a tomato. The slicer keep popping out of the groove. After putting it back 5 times and having it pop out 5 times I took out my knife and sliced it, and through the slicer in the trash. I should have returned it, but had more satisfaction trashing it. It didn’t cost that much.
