Webble Ergonomic Office Footrest (Silver)

This is a very nicely designed product, and changes the concept of "foot rests". The only thing I'd change would be the casters. The casters are for use on low pile carpet, but I'd prefer casters that would be better suited for harder surfaces, like plastic chair mats, and wood floors. The Webble moves too fast when used on harder surfaces. I've attempted to change the casters, but the process became extremely involved, and I still haven't been successful. I haven't been able to locate casters that have the same stem, as on the original casters.Update - 9/6/11:I've been dealing with the East Coast Distributor of Shephard Casters, for the last week (many calls, and e-mails), and there doesn't seem to be any casters that would fit the Webble, that would be appropriate for hard surfaces like chair mats and wood floors.I'd advise people who are thinking about purchasing this product for harder surfaces, to think twice about it. It just doesn't work well, unless you want to wear a "crash helmet" at your desk.

This is way, way better than the alternatives.At this price, I was skeptical that this thing would be a good value. But I'm impressed with the Webble! The design and build quality are totally first-rate... think Herman Miller or Steelcase.It rolls around on hidden casters, but putting weight on it activates a brake that holds it in place. Very clever.Looks great. Works great. Comfortable. Effective. I'm keeping it.

This was by far the most expensive of all the foot rests I looked at, but you definitely get what you pay for. The wheels on the bottom and thus the footrest rolling around are kind of hard to get used to, but now I don't think I could sit at my computer without it.

I needed a footrest for under my desk. This was the perfect choice. It comfortably moves however you want it to. The mesh material lets air flow through, keeps dust from collecting and looks great. My feet and my back are also glad I made this purchase.

I use my Webble on tile floor with sneakers. So in my environment it is a little louder than it may be on carpeted floor.I suffer from chronic back and neck pain. The purchase of this Webble was made while I was having a spasm attack in my lower back. I always have to be aware of how I'm sitting and the Webble helps by giving my feet somewhere to rest so the weight of my legs isn't pulling at my lower back.I'm 4'11 and chairs and desks aren't really made for me. So its products like these that help me 'life hack' my offices.The Webble is one of a kind. It is impossible to find a well designed footrest that you would be happy to place your feet on. I'm a graphic designer, so when I place things in my office they have to be at a high level of beauty and functionality. So far its the Webble, a Vornado fan/heater and my iMac.For interested buyers with pets: the Webble does attract pet hair. Though nothing a lint roller can't fix.
