Not worth it's low price
I have the 4 channel version of this NVR and it has many problems. When it gets hot it loses connection with the cameras. I installed a case fan (I had to cut a hole in the case) and it helps a little but still loses camera connections repeatedly. Also, it spontaneously randomly reboots and sometimes goes into a boot loop or freezes which necessitates pulling the power plug to reboot. Manufacturer support is non-existent. For security purposes it is useless and not worth it's low price. BTW, it appears that some of the other cheap Chinese NVRs are made by the same manufacturer with different names on them.

Good, you get what you pay for, it has all you functions need for surveillance video recording, in my case I can't use the motion detect and the alarm functions due to the cameras I have. I don't know which camera brands are compatible but if anyone has a clue please advice. I was not able to setup remote access, could be the same camera issue.
