[ 6 Pack] 16 oz. Wide-Mouth Glass Mason Jars with Metal Airtight Lids and Bands for 1 Pint Canning, Preserving, & Meal Prep

I bought these mason jars to make some snacks and parfaits. I don’t like the normal ball mason jars because it has either designs on it or it says “ball” or whatever else. I like a more clean uniform look. These jars work great for what I need them for. The glass is thick and seems high quality. They were also shipped in very protective foam packaging so not a single jar was broken on arrival. I don’t do canning so I have no idea if these will be as good as the name brand jars for that purpose. If you want canning jars I would maybe just go with the name brand because they are for sure tried and tested and I’m not sure if these are at the same standard. But I you just want mason jars for snacks, normal food storage, or maybe craft projects these are great. I love that they are uniformly wide throughout the jar. Other wide mouth jars have a little bit of a lip on the inside that makes it a little more difficult to clean. These are very easy to get your hand in with a sponge to clean well.

In theory this should have been a simple project. One box of six 16 oz regular mouth mason jars, one set of 6 mason jar pump lids and one set of 6 silicone boots. I made some cute dispensers for hand soap, lotion and dish soap. However the lids and jars never tightened down on 4 of 6 jars in any combination of lids! Rubber bands to the rescue! Putting a simple rubber band on the jar mouth threads cured the problem!!! The simple style of mason jar and pump will coordinate with lots of decor! The silicone boots keep them from sliding around and accidentally breaking if dropped. The cute labels came with the pump lids. The 16 oz size is plenty so it’s not being constantly refilled. This look a lot cuter than the original plastic store bottles! Amazon had the best deals on buying these so 6 pretty dispensers were very affordable!!! Try if!!!!

Perfect! The quality was great; I got these for my friend for her to can vegs. They work great for what they are used for, they are leak proof and keep these fresh. Overall an amazing product and a bang for your buck!

These came so carefully packaged with a foam insert inside the box. They are good quality and easily placed on top of one another in a cupboard or fridge. I use mine for sourdough starter overflow and they are super handy. The value is appreciated because of the size, the quality of material used in these jars and the seal is solid on these.

The mouth of the jars look to be the same as Ball brand wide mouth mason jars (I pushed them up against each other), but I think the threading is just a bit off--these mason jars definitely do not fit Ball mason jar lids (metal ones). I do have 3rd party plain plastic lids, kefir strainer lids, and pouring lids, all of those fit Ball mason jars and other 3rd party jars, but for this Gling brand jar only the plastic lid went on easily; the other kinds took more effort to fit on, and I'm not confident about the seal with these jars. And when I took a closer look at the plastic lid, it looked a little deformed. I'm not the only reviewer who discovered this, I just wished I had seen the other reviews before I bought these.I mention the Ball mason jar (which these jars are not) because those are the most common if not the only brand sold in in-person stores at least in my city, so Ball jars (or Kerr, the other brand found in stores) are what 3rd party lid accessory makers size their lids to.If you don't plan on using these jars with other brand lids, they are probably fine to use with their original metal canning lid, but you will have problems finding replacement lids or alternative lids. And if you were ok with glass jars with metal lids you might be better off reusing jars from store-bought food you would have bought anyway.As far as I know there's no restrictions or extra cost to retool these jars to fit Ball/Kerr mason jar threading (and therefore benefit from compatibility with everyone else fitting their stuff to Ball/Kerr), and I know other jar brands have done so (I have some), and these Gling jars are already *really* close, but it's not the first time I've had third party products imply interoperability with some other brand but not actually fit right.

I needed mason jars for my gifts in a jar project. The mouth was wide enough to fit all the ingredients. Lid quality is good, glass nice and thick and clear. The jars can be reused by their recipients for other foods or even plants. Not just for canning!

I bought these to help fruit last. I have two toddlers that demand strawberries, grapes etc and it all goes bad so quickly. I have grapes that I bought 3 weeks ago and they're still firm! The size is perfect and they are still dry and delicious!

The jars are great and sturdy. One survived a fall from a couple feet fall and is still being used today. Got all six and kept my kimchi fresh. Easy to clean but have not tried microwaving them yet, I would recommend researching that first. They are large but stack nicely. Haven't had a leak yet!
