Just one of these will get me a good nights sleep so I can better deal with work, or the cold I have come down with. Rest is so important. It is also important that these are not used on a daily basis. When use continually, it can leave you groggy during the day. But used occasionally, it really helps me when I need it. Great product!

This is the best budget friendly sleeping pills. They are not addictive and work pretty quickly. They keep me asleep all night! I buy them all the time. And I totally recommend them for you.

I don't buy the brand name on any OTC meds as the generic works just as well. Most of the products here for generic sleep aids are comparable in price. This works just as well as brand-name and I recommend it for those looking to save on value-priced generic. Good deal.

These Safrel Nighttime Sleep Aid softgels do not work, compared with other products with the identical active ingredient (50 MG diphenhydramine) and softgel composition. They fail to induce sleep and do not alleviate nasal allergy symptoms at all. Upon arrival, the softgels were severely clumped together, suggesting heat damage and possible chemical degradation (the photo illustrates the failure of clumped softgels to pour out of the inverted, open bottle). In the morning, I felt extremely exhausted, like I was drugged with toxic degradation chemicals (2 mornings in a row). After this negative experience, I read other customer reviews more carefully and discovered similar customer experiences, describing ineffectiveness and softgel clumping in the bottle. I have been taking 50 MG diphenhydramine softgels (1 per night) from other manufacturers for years and have always found them to be helpful, until purchasing this defective product from this manufacturer.

This is probably one of my favorites out of all the brands for over the counter non prescription asleep aids. Ive been finding that this is out of stock alot, but I always check the order page often because when it is in stock this stuff is amazing. I take prescription sleep aid but I don't like to rely on it so I usually will take the over the counter kind unless it's a specific night that I take the prescribed ones. Since I am on prescribed ones, along with years of use, my threshold is high as far as quality goes, and these never let me down. They will put you right to sleep, but without the anxious medicated feeling. I am a very light sleeper and I am able to sleep through the night with these without waking up. On any occasions that I do wake up, it's only because I have to use the restroom and I am able to back in the bed and go right back to sleep. I have experienced with some other brands that if something wakes me up I can't fall back asleep easily, sometimes causing me to have to take another dose to go back to sleep or I'm up all night, which just defeats the whole purpose all together- and these have never done that to me. With these I am able to wake up early the next morning, and able to get out of bed fast without feeling like I want to go back to sleep or hit the snooze button for 5 more minutes, no grogginess and alert to start the day. I feel rested and refreshed. Sometimes I have found in the past that some sleep aids will give your eyes a tired look the next morning or maybe some puffiness with under the eyes, and it goes away before leaving the house or starting your day, but I would rather not have to worry about that when taking something to go to sleep because it can help cause your mind to race and you don't want that when your trying to go to sleep and especially if you have trouble going to sleep in the first place. I never have to worry about any of that with these. I also wanted to add that in order to help your body not to get used to a sleep medicine or create a high tolerance, it is wise to change up the brand every few months so your body can get the same effects your looking for, and so you can continue to reap the full potential of these without feeling like you need to take more than the recommended dose. Good thing about this brand is that my body doesn't crave a sleep aid to go to sleep when taking these. These were shipped very fast, and came in a box instead of envelopes that im starting to see when bottles of medicine get shipped, and I much prefer the box because the bottle is protected and no damage. You get a large amount of these pills in the bottle and the price is fantastic. These are small oval gel capsules and are easy to swallow, they do not pop or leak in your mouth or leave any residue taste when you put them in your mouth while your getting a drink to wash them down with. Every pill in the bottle was loose, none were stuck together. Ive ordered these many times and they have never been delivered stuck together nor get stuck together after having them a long time in the bottle, because these will last you awhile. If your ordering these by themselves without anything else in the order, make sure where you live that these aren't sitting somewhere out in the sun in sweltering very hot weather, because you do run the risk of them sticking to one another. And that's not just this brand, any gelatin capsules, no matter what brand or kind you order, that can be popped or leak will stick when its so hot they gel together. Just make sure you don't have these sitting in your mailbox a few days or on the porch in very hot weather for a few days. These are always delivered fine and unstuck. Anyone that has gotten them all stuck together in one big ball is because they have been sitting out when delivered. You only need to be cautious and mindful of this if the heat is really bad at your house when ordered. 5 stars all the way when I'm actually able to find them!

I have to take this for both allergies and sleep, and I am allergic to red dye. So I usually go for the "sleepy" versions because they are regularly blue. There's no flavor to the gel cap, it's small on the range of capsules, and I love that there are 250 in a bottle - which will last me most of the year- for less than getting 50 of the name brand. Definitely keep in a desiccant packet because they will start to stick together - I haven't had any tear, but it is still annoying.
