This is a great mic. The sound is clear and you don’t have to be right up against the mic for the mic to pick it up. It feels very sturdy and looks superrrr sleek. One con for me is there’s no quick way to mute and there’s no gain control. Not necessarily deal breakers because I got the mic on sale so it’s a good price point.HOWEVER, at full price, I would be hesitant to purchase this one and I’d look around for better options. BUT, for $67 this is great.

Back on August 29, 2020 I purchased a Pyle PDMIKT140 external usb boom mic for my Mac system, mainly to use for various Zoom meetings. It's a fantastic mic. So when I saw this Pyle usb boom mic I thought it would be a great gift for my 20 year old son Jonah, who could use it for college courses and for his gaming. After instal he loves it and he's written the following review:The Pyle professional USB podcast microphone kit is a fantastic microphone. I play a lot of multiplayer games on my computer and having a microphone is almost always necessary. This microphone does the job even better than I expected. With a super easy to setup mic stand I can move my mic to wherever I need with it never getting in my way while using my computer. The microphone itself is incredible at picking up my voice and it can do it at almost any distance in my room while still picking up my voice crystal clear. It’s an absolutely amazing microphone that I would recommend to anyone who needs one!

The Mike is amazing, one of my favorite futures. Is that the cable runs up the body of the stand it's beautiful, white, it is clean, it helps me perform in my gaming streaming and just communicating with people. In general, this is one of the best quality makes. I've gotten for the price, and it seems like it's built to last.

I purchased this Pyle PDMIKT125WT unit with a recognized brand name, as opposed to one of the generic, less-expensive-but-seemingly-identical offerings in hopes that a name brand might offer more recourse if something went wrong. It's up and running just fine, so time will tell if a few extra sheckels were worth it. It seems to have better sound than my built-in mics, which is kind of the whole point. I can't say if it is better or worse than other condenser mic units out there since that would take a side-by-side comparison, and I plan to own only one of these for Zooming and random voice-over recording. The anti-shock mount seems adequate, and I like the convenience of the direct USB connection. It appears to have a decent cable, also. The cable runs through the boom (which is nice), but the cable cannot be removed from the boom because the molded connectors on each end are too large to slip through the skinny square tubing used for the boom. Not a problem for me, but something for buyers to be aware of.My main complaint with this unit, and it's probably an issue with all similarly constructed models, is that the arm is not really up to the task of holding this microphone up. It barely serves for the mic itself, and with the pop filter in place it realistically can't handle the weight. I also am not sure of the durability - it is the same construction as common, cheap, clamp-on-arm desk lamps, and the plastic wing nuts will be prone to cracking over time as one keeps tightening them to keep the darn thing from slipping down. With lamps, I ended up replacing the cracked plastic hardware with metal hardware, and I suspect the same thing will be needed here. It's a twenty-dollar microphone on a one-dollar boom, but I'm hopeful I'll get a couple years out of it before it starts to mechanically fail.The post on the boom that attaches to the shock mount has two threaded sections, with different diameters and thread pitches. There is a metal sleeve that goes around the second set of threads, and the mount has matching two sets of threads. However, the instructions do not explain how to attach this properly, as you can't just thread it on both at the same time because of the different thread pitches. Otherwise the assembly and the pictures are pretty straightforward.

The color! It's not black! All of these are always black. Black, black, black.Finally! Someone changed the color. This is white and looks great in my office/studio.I have another one from another brand that's black. This works as well, if not better - and guess what? It's not black!I wish more items would come in different colors.Set up was easy, it works and picks up my voice perfectly.And did I mention the best part? It's not black!

I used to have a $30 mic & this one is definitely an upgrade! However it’s not the best but for the price it is a lot better so I’m happy with it! The arm is super solid and easy to move around. I love the grey/white color, so pretty. The sound quality could be more clear but other than that it is great. If you don’t want to spend more than $100 then I recommend this!

I have gone through 4 different mics, for the price point thing thing is steller! Great audio quality and I'm loving it. Its visually appealing also. I don't regret my purchase at all, and conveniently it ended up matching my headset. I use it for streaming on twitch, so it is going yo get some heavy use.
