This is a phenomenal bag! Truly a rare handmade gem. My bag came with a thoughtfully written note from the craftsman, Koma Chaudhari, that impressed me because this kind of attention to detail is from another era entirely. Honestly, this bag should cost two or three times the price, and my guess is that an enormous effort (passion for sure) is being put into launching this handmade leather-goods business. I highly recommend getting this bag while it's available. I only wish the spirit of this kind of craftsmanship was more common. I've had my bag for about 6 months and it's breaking in even better than I had expected. It fits my 15" laptop perfectly and fits everything else I need without feeling bulky or heavy on my shoulder. The interior is lined with heavy duty cotton canvas that I expect will last for years and end up feeling as soft as my favorite pair of chinos. Typically, leather bags like this smell awful, not this one. The only thing to watch out for is that the bottom of the bag does not offer any padding or protection for a laptop so you might want to insert a layer of foam or leather, etc. at the bottom of that pocket or be careful setting your bag down on hard surfaces when it's holding the laptop. Otherwise a perfect bag at a crazy price for the quality.

I'm so glad I took a chance and ordered this bag. As other reviewers noted, it arrived in a silk protective bag with a card signed by the seller. I thought this was a very nice personal touch. As for the bag itself, it looks absolutely amazing. Well tanned and a nice grain with somewhat of a pull up leather look. Refined with a rugged edge. The leather itself is soft and I imagine will break in nicely. The bag is stiff at first, probably due to the canvas lining. But that's not a bad thing at all. It's very sturdy for all that the leather has a nice soft supple feel. I'm sure this will age very well. The smell is present, as with all real leather goods, but is not overwhelming and is very pleasant (smells like a high quality leather lounge chair in a library full of leather bound first editions). I am impressed with the quality of every stitch and every seam and the quality of all the materials (canvas and leather) and the details like actual working buckles rather than cheap magnet clasps. One other reviewer noted that the shoulder strap buckle is in an odd spot (on top of the shoulder) and I'd agree with that. It would be better in front on my chest or on my back but it's not uncomfortable at all and does not impact the looks of the bag. Really, it's a minor detail. I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a well made, high quality, affordable leather bag. I am definitely going to consider buying additional bags from this seller! This bag could easily retail for $200 or more and what you get for your money here is incredible.

It will be hard to beat this bag at this price point. Frankly I don't know how they do it, but I'm glad that they do. This was purchased to hold my Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 15.6 inch touch screen laptop and it fits snugly with the added padding.Here are my observations on the bag that I received:1 - Upon inspection, the bag appears to be well made. The leather is thin, but properly and evenly stiched at all seams. No stray threads or bad stitches.2 - The lining is a nice green color and compliments the bag. It is properly fitted to the leather and seems durable.3 - The finish on the leather is a very nice color and gives it a vintage look.4 - There is some sort of thin padding in the front and back panels to give your laptop a little bit of protection. There is NO padding in the botton or sides.5 - There is plenty of storage in this bag for everything that I need to carry and then some.6 - Smells like quality leather. Reminds me of walking into a boot store.7 - I actually prefer the strap buckles over magnets since they are more secure.Here are some minor points:1 - For me the weak part of my bag seems to be the shoulder strap. One side of my strap is made from 2 pieces of leather that was overlapped and stitched together so I'm not sure how that will hold up over time. Don't get me wrong, it was very well done, but a potential weak spot.2 - The bottom of the bag has nothing to protect it from wear such as leather skid pads or brass feet. This is an easy DIY fix for the owner though. I'll probably make this mod soon.3 - It would be nice if the shoulder strap was removable. I have already ordered a couple of brass D rings, clips and Chicago screws to remedy this (about $10.00). The added bonus is that once this mod is done I can re-use the hardware if the original strap fails and I need to replace it.4 - I cut three pieces of 3/4 inch foam, 1 piece for the bottom and 2 pieces for the sides. Now my laptop is better protected.5 - Finally I gave the leather a thorough rubdown with my favorite leather conditioner/preservative to give it some added protection.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this bag again and I'm looking forward to several years of service from it.

I bought it few days ago, and tried to put some stuff, the material looks ok, when you hold it from the small handle, it seems it is not balance and hanging on one side (towards buckles), even I put it in the last pin. but when you hold it from the main belt, it looks ok. I will use it for a while and see, if it is worthwhile. I was thinking it is hanging on one side, as might be I have put less stuff in it. (July 7, 19)August 12, 19: I have realized my above review was not posted yet. After using it for about 2 week, it is not the bag i was looking for, it is not in alignment, although material is good, but the handle is on soft part and when you carry it and hold form handle, the bag shape become bad.I want to return it but I missed the opportunity as currently I am out of USA, I am not sure if they seller can allow me to return.I took it out of USA and want to return it while
