All The Ways I Love You: Recordable StoryBook Board book – January 1, 2009

I purchased this book for my 3 yr. old grandson whose daddy will be deploying soon to Afghanistan. My original thought was to have his daddy read it to him so that my grandson could continue to hear his daddy's voice while he's gone. My daughter suggested that I let my grandson and his daddy read it together....what a beautiful idea. His daddy read a line, and then my grandson said what he thought he'd heard...meanwhile it is all recorded and is very adorable. What a wonderful keepsake for my little grandson, and what a comfort to his daddy knowing that he will be remembered while he's gone.

This sole concept of this book is really amazing. To be able to read to my daughter even when Im not by her side is priceless. Granted, the book is very basic, 2 scentnce per page type of book but the message is very touching and special. I was worried that I would have to sit and record the entire book without a pause in between but was pleasantly surprise to find that each page is recorded one by one and if you go through the book and find that you want to re-record a certain page none of the other recorded pages are affected :)Overall this was a great purchase.**Note- the book comes with USB port to upload & save your recording on the Hallmark website**

The quality is great; whether it is with the workmanship of the book or the actual quality of the stories. It is physically very durable in quality, which is great for my autistic grandson who likes to hear the stories over and over. The book can take the beating, as I bought another Hallmark a few years ago for this very grandchild. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper recordable for Christmas 2013 for my grandson, due to prompting from my current partner to buy cheaper. Hence, I made two mistakes. Listening to my partner as well as purchasing a cheaper grade of book. I landed up having to take the book back and bought a Hallmark replacement. It cost me more in the long run by the time I had to take the cheap book back and ship the Hallmark book back to him. I will listen to myself in the future and stick with Hallmark; as long as they continue to lead the market in the quality of recordable books.

Didn't work from the start, opened the battery case, and found the batteries to be overly corroded, acid running out of both ends, terminals were covered in acid, case was lined with corrosion on the bottom of the case, ends were overflowing with corrosion. Attempted to call the number given, no answer. Went for a refund, and amazon wont do it, i have to wait on the owners of the business, to get back to me. I wont be buying from this person again..the responsible thing to do with any thing battery operated, is to check the operation, before sending it out...it did not work from the start, and would not have worked, from the store, if it was checked....not a reliable seller. Dont buy from people who dont check their product, before shipping..Beware of cheap, non-responsible, owners, and sellers..

One of the springs in the battery case is missing. Perhaps this is why it won't record. I changed batteries and that wasn't the problem. I have purchased in the past and they have been fine.

I and my 3 daughters recorded the story and gave the book to my 3 year old nephew. It was very easy to record and we were able to complete it in one take. We had fun doing it and he enjoyed listening to our voices.

We purchased these for our grandson that lives in California. He loves to hear our voices when he reads the book. The book gives enough flexability to personalize the story by adding the childs name even if it does not appear in the book. I also asked questions and that made my grandson giggle and answer the questions even though I was not there. He loves it and we will be buying more.
