It was a great buy for the money. It was like a little condo for our little dwarf hamster. She was in heaven. However she did eat a lot of the the ramp, platforms etc. lol however it was not toxic for her. She recently passed away a few days ago. She lived way passed her time frame so I feel it was her luxury accommodations 🥰 if I ever need another I would definitely buy again. It was way better than anything we found a any of the pet stores.

Our new (full sized) hamster, Cheeky, came with a standard dwarf hamster sized cage when we adopted her. I wanted a larger cage for her and found this one.It's over twice the size of the cage she came with, and comes with all the accessories needed: water bottle, food dish, wheel, "bathroom," toys. Also included is the ramps, platforms, house, and teeter totter.The instructions aren't super clear, and I had to disassemble and reassemble a platform.**look very closely at the directions to see which side the screw holes go when fastening the fencing to the platforms**Overall very satisfied with this cage. Cheeky has more room and loves her little house within the cage. She stashes her treats in there.

When i first received the cage i liked the overall aesthetic. However I have two young gerbils and on the first night one escaped from the top door! Upon further inspection I see that there are gaps by the front door as well and a gentle push gives a small gerbil an easy exit. and the bars are pretty flimsy and warp rather easily. I honestly would have returned but it was a bit of a process to put together (lots of tiny screws using a tiny little screw driver). So for now i have bougt zip ties to permanetly close one door for now and I have to place a few heavy weight magazines on the top door. The cage said it was sutible for gerbils but be careful if your babies are on the smaller side.. Over all it was pretty but not functional and not worth the price with all the unattractive modifications I have had to make to keep it secure.

So I bought this cage hoping it would be just the right size for my hamster Elvis. It arrived and I was able to assemble some parts by myself but eventually recruited help. Once the cage was assembled, I put my lil fur ball in the cage and he loved it! He explored everything and had so much room! The platforms aren’t difficult at all to put up, and Elvis has so much more living space. Although I will say, be careful with the platforms and the house. They are made of a sensitive material and break very easily if too much force is applied. Other than that, i definitely love this cage and so does Elvis!

A beautiful cage! took some patience to put together. Our hamsters have chewed the fence though, and a hole in one floor the blue platforms. Major bummer!

Very cute design, and has a deep area for bedding. The base is clear so it is great for seeing the entire cage. I like having two large doors for access. After about three months of occupancy the hamster decided she might find a way out and started chewing the white fencing and blue floor, and within three weeks I had to remove what was left of the two floors and threw it away before it collapsed and hurt the hamster.The initial instructions weren't clear or easy to follow so I ended up having to take the shelves apart and start again which was annoying. The wheel is bigger than others that come with cages, but it's narrow so the hamster doesn't like it; her feet slide off the outside edge. I had to replace it and all the other interior parts. (Wood items from Amazon costing around $60.) Too bad it ended up not being a good home.

The wheel it came with is phenomenal, very little to no noice, I hear my kitty guy paws more the the wheel itself. Cage is great size, and the platforms make it real nice to utilize every inch of the cage. The reviews of people saying the hamsters chew on it, yes, they will but hamster CHEW, it’s in you to have chew toys for you hamster doesn’t chew the platforms. My hamster hasn’t even considered chewing it since he has toys all over the place.

This cage is so cute and a good size, but as you can see, it is easily chewed up. This is what our cage looks like after 3 days of housing our new hamster, and all of this was just in the last 24 hours. Our cage was also short 4 screws, so we had to make a trip to the hardware store. That was a minor inconvenience and I am glad we decided to set up the cage well before purchasing our hamster. Unfortunately I now need to purchase another cage because this landing will be destroyed in the next day at the rate she is chewing through it.
