I love the vibrant colors. Nice soft texture feel, not course like wool, and they are a perfect balance of soft and sturdy. They look attractive. High quality material. Perfect size. The best thing about these is that it goes perfectly well with Talavera bowls and plates. Great mood setter.Today is day two with them and they are still clean, otherwise I would have rated how well they clean up; I'll save this rating for another time I guess.Anyway, if you enjoy the Mexican culture and you want to show your appreciation for it, then I trust that you won't regret buying these. First, this plaid is my most favorite. These placemats are the precise classic red tartan we Americans are accustomed to. These have a nice weight and are easily machine washed and dried. I dried them on a high setting with dish towels and they didn't appear to shrink too much. I think slightly, but not so much that they're now disproportionate. If you want to use them immediately upon receipt you will need to iron them. They're shipped on a roll, so took a while to flatten out naturally. I didn't give them five stars overall because they do require a higher level of maintenance than I'd prefer in a placement that gets used multiple times a day, but for the holiday season they are great.

They were rolled when I got them and I was concerned. But I unrolled them, put them on the table and they were all flat. I bought them to match a border on my Christmas table cloth and they looked great. The material is very nice and have received a lot of compliments on them. Would recommend.

I have a tablecloth from another company. They did not have matching napkins, so I took a chance on these napkins. So glad I did. They are a great size and and a great size. I hav not used them yet as they are for my Christmas table, therefore I can not comment on the ease of laundering or th sturdiness of these. Great value.

Bought one set a couple years ago. Liked them so much I bought more.
