I'm using the 29.5 x 22.5 x 8 cm to neatly house in a porch protected from the weather some waterproof electrical gear including a transformer for garden lighting.I've painted the box but would not rely on it to house electrical components that were not themselves waterproof.For this use I found I needed to replace the original hinges which are very lightweight with something a little more heavy duty. This was very easy to do, as the original hinges did not even need to be removed.The clasp for closure is pretty lightweight too but I expect will serve its purpose for a good while as the box will mostly stay shut now it's installed.The box seems soundly made but as I was securing electrical components inside it I found its walls were just a tad too thin to comfortably take small screws without them penetrating. For the lighter component, a PIR switch, I used velcro to attach it to the inside.I liked that a range of sizes were available.

arrived promptly and well packed. I required the box to purpose for storage and use of art pastels. I fitted an insert tray and partitions with foam padding to base and lid, and the box is very usable and every bit as good as pastel storage boxes costing three times the price. I will need to source a stronger front catch for my needs but this is no criticism of the box supplied

They arrived quickly in the dimensions I ordered. They are well made and sturdy. We took the lids off to use them as kitchen cupboard inside shelf storage - I love wood so much more than plastic! They’ve made me very happy. Perhaps the seller could offer wooden boxes without lids too?

Nice handy size box. A little expensive but then the packing is high quality and by the time you add in shipping costs then it's no too surprising that it's pretty expensive for what it is.

The headline says it all really. Nicely made wooden box with metal clasp, I used to house steel rules safely. Its nicely finished (sanded), ready for varnish or paint of your choosing, or not as you desire.

The wood has a big imperfection on the lid, it looks like an oval sticker or label has been removed that was embedded on the surface. Disappointing as this was to create a Christmas eve box.The hinges weren't attached properly and I had to ask a joiner to sort this.As this project had a deadline, I didnt go through the returns processDelivery was prompt
