I was pleasantly surprised by this spoon holder ..nice and heavy.

Sooooo pretty. Easy to wipedown to get stuck on food off BUT. It stains easily. And its impossible to get the stains out.Other than that. Its great. Heavy. Grippy things on the bottom.I still use (and display) mine, even with the stains.

This spoon rest is exactly as expected - it’s beautiful and sturdy as marble with a wide spoon rest area that can fit multiple utensils at once. I have been cleaning it with mild soap and water after each use and it has yet to stain from any of the dark sauces I’ve gotten on it.

It is heavy, beautiful, and sturdy. A simplistic marble piece, whites and soft grays throughout. It also has small pieces of foam on the bottom to put a barrier between your stovetop/counter/etc. and the spoon rest itself and also add some resistance so it does not slide. It is actually bigger than I thought it would be, which I love as I can put two spoon heads on it at once. Love this piece, I would definitely buy it again.

I was worried about staining but I have cooked chili and left the spot from the spoon overnight multiple times with no problem. The look of it is a bit more handmade than I was expecting but no one notices it other than me. Love the color, very close to what is pictured in the description.

Oil left a stain that looks like a hard water mark and the color is more so just white with a few dark specs. I might have just got a boring looking one, but it's sturdy and still matches the rest of the marble in my kitchen.

I've been looking for spoon rest for a long time. I couldn't find any that I liked because the plastic/rubber ones all looked too cheap to me and didn't fit the style I want in my kitchen. This is absolutely perfect. It's heavy-duty and sturdy, the champagne marble in the Beige color is GORGEOUS, and it's the perfect size for my kitchen. It's easy to clean, I just wipe it down with a damp paper towel. It's also large enough to fit multiple spoons/forks/whatever I'm cooking with, but not so large that it gets in the way. It fits perfectly on my electric stove between my two back burners. I also bought the matching tool crock and the two together make my kitchen look beautiful!

The item literally broke in my hands as I was washing it.

what i ordered and expected

Nice product in principle but it stained after one use from some sauce. As it's specifically for putting utensils on a major flaw as far as I'm concerned.Natural stone is porous but typically sealed to stop this. Clearly not enough in this case.
