Well made saw, easily cut sheet metal, good value. Would buy again.
The "AUTOTOOLHOME 2 inch (50mm)" is a very good hole saw. I paid about $10 in April 2025 for this tool.I used it to cut 2" holes in 50 year old automotive sheet metal, and it performed very well. My old cordless drill could not keep up, so I switched to a reliable, powerful corded drill to do the work. The hole saw quickly started cutting through the steel, throwing off fine metal chips. I did not get the feeling that the cutter overheated or lost its cutting ability during the cuts. However I took the time to get even, consistent cuts, trying to hold the drill at a consistent position to ensure that the metal would cut through evenly. I let the tool do the work, and did not rush the job, however I don't feel like it took the saw an unreasonable amount of time to to make the cuts. For this project I only made 2 holes, so there was not a great amount of time to wear out the saw. During use I did *not* notice any broken or lost teeth on the saw after use. For the price, this cost me $5 per hole which is fair. I believe this will serve me well in the future next time I need it.

Excellent Product For the Price
Needed to cut eight 2" holes in cold rolled mild 1/8" (11 gauge) steel. Very pleased that I was able to cut all the holes w/o too much difficulty using a $10 hole saw. After the eight holes, saw teeth were still intact and seemed sharp with no noted distress. Obviously not for commercial use but great if only need to cut a few holes.Caveats:- The provided drill bit was totally worthless being extremely dull, not sure it would drill thru soft wood. Not a big deal, I used my own bit to drill thru the 1/8" steel and used the saw bit as a pilot.- Worked best with a corded drill, moderate pressure at moderate speeds using oil.- Did not work in a drill press, assuming the drill attachment was not aligned with the saw; so hand held drill worked best.- Teeth are fairly thick so you do remove a lot of material.

Drilled a broken pool ladder socket 5 inches
Amazing bit. Cut through 5 inches of in ground pool ladder socket. Old ladder bonded/fused to the socket. Cannot recommend this enough.Another tip: Make sure you use the right cutting fluid/lubricant

NOT FOR WOOD!
Description claimed it cuts wood as well as metal. No it doesn't. cuts about 1/16" then the teeth clog and it stops cutting.Don't waste your money if you're trying to cut a hole in wood, use a standard hole saw. Maybe it would work better on metal.

Cuts clean
I needed to cut a 2" hole in my firewall to run some wiring, this cut clean and fast and shows no wear. This was sheet metal and I won't be cutting anything thicker so you're results may vary, but I'm happy for the money

Takes time cutting thick aluminum
Well built core drill. Very slight wobble (run out) noticeable at slow speeds.Wide teeth make it very time consuming to cut aluminum plate (3/8" thick), but makes a very clean hole.Teeth clog up easily and need to be cleaned all the time. Take your time and it will work.
