LORAC Front of the Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner, Black

I normally use a different brand with a similar tip and consistency, but it ended up being sold out every time I went to go buy it, so I decided to try this one. This one is very similar, but the formula is a little thinner than what I'm used to. I love the hair tip though, as I can be very precise with it. I'm very picky with my eyeliners for this reason because even felt tips are too bulky and thick for my taste.It lasts pretty long, this photo was taken outside on a really hot and sweaty day and it was able to last all day. However, because the formula is thinner than what I'm used to, if your eyes tear up at all, this eyeliner will come off pretty easily. My other usual liner isn't waterproof, but because of the thicker formula, my eyes could tear up a little from allergies and still stay put. This is not the case with the LORAC eyeliner.Overall though, it's a great eyeliner and very easy to use. It doesn't crease on your eyelid, dries pretty quick, and if you make any mistakes while applying it, it's easy to wipe off and fix. Lasts all day as long as you don't sweat into it or touch it.

Gave this a try after hearing rave reviews, and I'm glad I did. It really does last a whole day, even without primer; I work a physical job, and my wings are still perfectly sharp after I get home, in spite of sweat and my oily lids. The brush tip allows for a thinner and more even line than I've managed to get with felt tips from KVD and Stila, and even the tiny Tarte micro liner. It applies a little thinner and less opaque than I'd hoped for, but I suspect that that's a product of needing to be workable with a brush, and it looks fine from any reasonable distance.I did remove a star because it has that "dry erase" kind of effect- I don't know what else to call it- where if you try to go over a spot once it's dry (for example, if you like to outline first and then fill in your eyeliner shape) the brush tends to drag off more product than it deposits. It takes a good press and a line or two on the back of my hand before enough liner starts flowing to actually paint over the damage. Primer does seem to reduce this somewhat, but it's best to work quickly. Sometimes I give up and just fill in the gap with a different liner.

I previously reviewed this product (and I left it below), but I have to revise my comments. Since writing my review so many months ago, I have tried multiple competing liquid liners from Lancôme, Chanel, and even a few drug store brands like Revlon and Rimmel London. The outcome? No other product competes with this one! I am utterly unable to create two wings that look the same unless I use this Lorac liner. I had forgotten about this product, and I was about to give up liquid liner all together until I tried it again. Now I am back on the liquid liner bandwagon because with Lorac, it is just as easy to use liquid as it is to use a pencil (but liquid looks so much more elegant). Just try it, you'll see!*******************************I like this eyeliner because it makes application very smooth and simple. The reason I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars, is that when my eye waters, the make up doesn't stay in place. Also, if I put it on alone, like without eyeshadow, within an hour it is all over the lid of my eye (and my skin is not particularly oily ). I had read that this product was like a waterproof eyeliner but didn't require oily make up remover. It definitely doesn't stay in place like a waterproof eyeliner.

I've been rocking the winged look since I was 13. I used to use theatrical eyeliner to achieve the look that I had been going for. I then moved on to liquid liner from the drugstore, which suited my purpose that never lasted and always left marks on my eyelids. I chanced upon this product when they started stocking it at Kohls. I purchased it and I will never use another brand again. It has the most perfect point for all applications. It has a long wear formula that does not rub off easily and for the most part will not migrate even in heavy sweating conditions. If I were to not touch my face while in the pool it would still stay in place. It is not waterproof however. I do find that if I don't have Shadow or a type of powder on my upper lid and I make the line too thick it will leave smudges. But this is not a problem if your eyelid does not touch your brow bone like mine does when I hard crease my eyes. This is really an amazing product and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good liner. The price can be kind of steep at around $25 but rest assured it's worth it. I usually get around 2 months daily use out of one pencil.

I have been getting this eyeliner for a few years and I love it. It's the easiest to apply liner I have found (it's not like that felt tip that is stiff but more like a thin brush) and it really lasts through the day (and a little into the next day if I am bad and don't wash off my makeup...oops).I always get asked what liner I am using when I wear it. I am a photographer and keep my eye up against a camera when working for a lot of the day and it stays put and looks sharp. Great for a nice smooth line.

ever since they discontinued the L'oreal H.I.P. eyeliner pencil, i've been on a years-long quest for a replacement. since no pencil will ever come close, i resorted to liquid even though I've never been super into liquid eyeliner. i tried all the brands around this prince point (stila, kat von d, etc.) and they're all good but this one just goes on a little nicer. it's easier to control, is a little more matte/less glossy (a huge plus for me), and has better staying power. been using it for a while now and one tube aways lasts a super long time, but after the first few uses i definitely notice a decrease in the ricness of the flow. overall a very solid eyeliner. only giving 4 stars because i could never give an eyeliner 5 stars unless it lived up to the old h.i.p. pencil (which, if anyone knows a dup for that i'll be eternally grateful)
