Overall the product is good the screws are easier to put than some others, I’ll give it a couple days

I got an injury on both of my arms…so turning steering wheel has become an issue. Started looking for some solution and when I found this knob I got it just to try and see if it works. At first I wanted something prettier….maybe made with resin and flowers or something…not a lot is out there. Mostly this things have very masculine design. But the minute I started using it I forgot all about the prettiness of it and was so happy I have this because it made driving fun again for me! Backing up isn’t an issue now where you have to turn the wheel more than usual. Absolutely genius idea!Installation was very hard and tricky for me. I couldn’t wait for my husband to do it and tried to install it myself. I end up having my injured arms hurt because it was very challenging to put the screws in and that little tiny special screwdriver kept falling from my hands….I end up screwing only one other one fell under the seat and I can’t find it. But with only one screw this thing is working for me. I will find and add second screws later, no worries. With one screw it sits pretty tight. My 2017 Toyota RAV4 steering wheel is too thick for this knob…there is space between two parts that hold the wheel. But I made it work.After years with this thing, I still love it and will always get the knob to any of my future cars. One can for me is as follow: when I bought Amazon said that it will fit my 2017 RAV4, but it didn’t. It end up running my wheel surface. Not a big deal to me, since I am planning to stay with this car until it’s can no more. But for future cars I wouldn’t put it the way I did this one, when it didn’t fit, and corners of knob base bit into the material of the wheel. Still use same knob and don’t feel confortable without it.

I don't understand how some reviewers call this a quality piece. The mounting hardware feels solid but the ball is cheap hollow plastic. It rattles and just tap it. Feels like a preschool toy. Also there are small grip spikes on the inside of the bracket. If you tighten them up the way you're supposed to, after all it's a steering wheel ball, you will have little punctures in your steering wheel wrap. I filed down the points. The ball just feels really cheap in your hand. I hope it lasts until I find a quality unit. It looks good but I'm not impressed.Update 10/21/2024: It has proven to be more durable than I thought. Good for average users, probably not for long haul truckers.

The product works great, but it was missing the hardware instead of waiting on the part to come back I went ahead and just got bolts and did it myself
