Philips Norelco Series 4000 Shaver 4400

I procrastinated on buying this shaver. There were many negative reviews that made me wary. Finally I said I had to make a change. My old Norelco wasn't getting the job done and I couldn't find replacement blades that would work. I was very pleased when I made the initial charge and as I remember it was about an hour. Today I charged it for the second time. It was just shy by a week of 4 months. Now admittedly, I have a light beard, but still that is very good. Now let me say the shave is excellent. The operation of the shaver is very comfortable. For the money I paid I will not This shaver is well worth a try and the money. I haven't tried the other more expensive shavers, but I don't believe they could do much better if at all.

I have used Norelco Electric Razors for about 10 years. This one is the quietest one I've ever had. It's so quiet you think it's not working very well; trust me, it works great! After you use it a few times you really appreciate it. I love how close it shaves. I love that the trimmer is attached to the razor (an improvement from my last Norelco where I had to take off the blades and put the trimmer on to use it). This Series 4000 Shaver 4400 is easier to clean (run under hot water) lasts about 2 weeks before needing to be charged, and only takes about 45 minutes to recharge. Love this razor!

Give a good shave, but feels a bit cheap. Not as finished as my old 7865 Quadra Action.

Fast shave and better shave than my $250 Braun shaver.

Doesn't shave as close or as easily as a foil. Ergonomically it is difficult to hold and guide. Kept as a backup only.
