The fit was perfect. Same as the Otter but more than half the price.

Decent but not perfect
I bought this case a couple of yrs back, I thought it was a great case because, even though I've suffered a couple of drops -maybe 2 to 3 ft, my screen never cracked! As it has aged it has started getting a little dirty looking or discolored so, I decided I'd order another one...It came in today. I removed the old case & I found my ph wasn't as protected as I thought... The whole back side is cracked... There's not enough protection around where the S-pen goes. I had a co-worker take a pic of the back form me. 😖 I hope there's something better out there.***UPDATE*** After searching Amazon for hrs I've determined that there really isn't a "better" case as they are all essentially made the same (same type), even the Otterbox Defender series! On nearly all of them I found at least 1 complaint about glass breakage. A couple of them do come with the additional snap on hard shell belt clip, which I do believe would give this phone better protection in this vulnerable area, by the s-pen, but then you have this clip on the back that may or may not work as a kick stand & may or may not break itself. It would be great if they made one of these Snap-on, exterior shells, that you could use to put something like a popsocket on! They could still have the cutout for the camera but, it would have that extra protection around the S-Pen area. I like having something to be able to prop my phone with while watching a show & something to help stabilize the phone when trying to take a selfie or even when just sitting & typing 1 handed or something but, when she stick a popsocket on the back of your case, laying it flat for charging is out the window. Maybe they should think about making this exterior hard clamshell for just that function! Someone needs to do it or Samsung to design the phone or better placement of the S-pen so that corner's not so vulnerable.

Take off rubber piece. Place in plastic piece after unsnapping it.
For those saying the front part is missing.....you have to take the outer rubber piece off. Then unsnap the two plastic pieces underneath. Place the phone on the bottom plastic piece, then snap the top plastic piece onto the bottom piece. Then place the rubber piece back on the case. It's a tight fit, but it will go on.

Good value.
I normally buy Otterbox Defenders, but this one is great, especially for the price. Forget using the instructions, they suck, just use common sense and go slow.

Don't try to force your phone into this case.
UPDATE: I really liked this case but after using it for a while, I now have two problems with it. (Details below.)CONS:1. It's very difficult to put the phone in it and the instructions are terrible, and2. The charging part cover pushes SO hard toward covering the port that it pushes hard enough against the cables to cause damage to my phone and the cables while charging so I had to cut the port cover off.PROS: Aside from those two things, the case looks nice, feels nice to grip, and I do think it'll do a good job protecting my phone from drops (if not from itself).DETAILS:Getting the case on the phone:The instruction images are so bad that even when I figured out how it's supposed to go, I still couldn't see any instructions what I had needed to know! This case actually has THREE pieces, and you MUST separate all three in order to put this case on without breaking your phone. It's VERY difficult to separate the pieces, to the point that it hurt my hands. Ultimately I thought I broke the middle piece at first because it's so brittle, but once the middle piece is off of the innermost layer, then – and only then – it's very easy to just sit the phone into it with no force at all.Thankfully, putting the case back together on the phone is much easier. (I'm dreading the day I have to take this case off.)But I do like the case now that it's on my phone. The buttons work perfectly. It's a little cumbersome getting to the stylus, but it's doable without too much trouble. The back of the case is slightly textured, but I think it might be just smooth enough that a PopSocket would stay on it. The sides are just grippy enough that I think it will help with preventing drops. The red color is good. It has the slightest hint of orange – sooo slight that it would never be mistaken for orange – but I think that's actually a bonus, since I get red cases so they're easier for me to spot in my purse, lol. This is a surprisingly heavy case, but not at all too bulky.Power port cover:I'm glad to have what looks like a nice cover for the power port. Hopefully it won't push too hard on the cable. I'll update if that gives me any trouble. (It did give me trouble...)UPDATE 10/22/24: It did push too hard on the power cables, so all power cables are slightly jiggly in the power port now and I'm always get a message saying it's slow charging, with cables that never did that before.I tried loosening up the cover by bending it as far open as it could go, but there was no sign of it loosening so I ultimately had to cut it off completely. It's a bummer because I was really happy about having a cover for my phone's power port, but that's not happening with this case. It's only occurred to me now that I've cut the piece off that it might have helped if I had heated the plastic while holding it wide open (not while it's on the phone though lol!), so if you're reading this, that might be a solution for you.
