This drill bit is life changing!!
The photo on the left is the one I drilled with the Jerax Tools 3/16 to 7/8 inch Step Drill bit in an acrylic sign that I had made for my boss. The photo on the right is the hole that was drilled by the sign company on a previous sign that he had in the office. This is my first attempt at drilling acrylic... the sign is 26" x 16" and 1/4" thick. My biggest fear was cracking the acrylic while attempting to drill the 1/2" holes. The step bit was absolutely a dream to use. It cut through the acrylic with no problem and left a perfectly clean hole. Crisis avoided!! This will definitely be my go-to drill bit from now on. Thank you!!

Durable!
It was durable for the jobs we had - added water filter spout and soap dispenser to kitchen sink. Was used on the lowest speed and didn’t lead to any issues! Good value compared to other brands. The largest hole we created was 1 1/4”.

Quality Step Bit For The Price
Quality step bit for $30. I used it to drill 2- 1 1/4” diameter holes in 1/4” thick steel which is very thick for a step bit. It took light damage to the cutting edge on the larger steps but over all did a very good job for beating it up so badly with thick steel. I can’t imagine how a $10 step bit this size would look after what I put this one through!! Gave it 4 stars for the light cutting edge damage but don’t let that scare you away from buying this bit.

Maybe we lucked out, but I had absolutely no trouble drilling through our stainless steel kitchen sink with this bit. Was very happy and surprised. Would buy again.

Best cutting bits
I purchased a bits to drill several 16 gauge stainless steel sinks. I’m a plumber by trade those bits cut like you’re going through butter!
