No more transmission shutter problems.
Installed these along with new spark plugs on my 2005 F-150 with the 5.4 Triton engine. I was experiencing what felt like the transmission was shifting in and out around 40mph and 70mph. At first I thought I was having problems with the transmission, but after reading on the web about the shutter could be the result of bad ignition coils, I crossed my fingers and installed all new coils. The shutter in the transmission was gone! Doing the work ourselves saved a big bill from a mechanic too! Truck had 95,000 on the original plugs and coils, I have seen a slight increase in the fuel mileage as well.

Buyer beware... dead coil within 5 miles
Not 100% convinced these are legit motor craft coils. Had one go bad 5 miles after changing all 8 on my expedition. Coils arrive thrown in a plain brown box, stuffed in individual bubble wrap sleeves. The documentation included tries to convince you that they are legit, but we all know china can copy anything. My vehicle runs worse after using these, lacking acceleration and ended up with a miss and shudder. Ended up going back to the stock coils for troubleshooting, and power was restored. Emailed Daytona expressing my discontent, and they offered me a replacement coil for the one that went bad. Three stars only for the decent customer service.

Double check your parts
This was one of those cases of wasting hours of troubleshooting only to find one of the brand new plugs was defective. The customer was getting anxious so I did not have time to contact the seller and ended up getting a plug locally. Literally spent hours troubleshooting this vehicle because my code scanner was throwing different codes pointing to other possible causes. Never thought to check a brand new plug but that's what it ended up being. 2006 Ford F250 Super Duty 5.4L.I don't like giving bad reviews but just remember something brand new can be defective. Other than this issue the service and remaining plugs and all the coils were fine.

Did the trick!
OEM replacements solved a long-standing intermittent misfire problem that slowly got worse over time. The misfire didn't throw a code so I replaced all 8 COPs. Now my 2004 F150 Lariat Supercrew runs as smoothly as I did when I drove it off the showroom floor! The only difficult thing about a DIY replacement is access to about 4 of 8 COPs - tight spaces!

Not OEM
Replaced original COPs with these. My truck just went over 100,000 miles and was planning a road trip in 4 months. So I figure change them now and have a little over three months to break them in before heading on the road trip. Made the trip just fine, but 9 months from date of purchase truck engine started sputtering around 1500-1900 rpm's at 45-70 mph. Truck wasn't giving any codes on my gryphon tuner. So I started by filling up with better gas with fuel injector cleaner additive, same thing. Then I pulled COP and plugs, plugs had a little carbon but was fine and COPs looked fine. Didn't have a meter to check resistance of plugs, reinstalled and engine was still sputtering. I almost pulled my fuel rail then I figured to check the F150 forums to see if anyone was getting similar symptoms, and sure enough. People had same issues with engine sputtering around 1500-1900 rpm's at 45-70 mph. I kept my original plugs when I replaced them 9 months ago, so I cleaned them up applied some electrical grease and put them back into my truck. Truck is back to normal, no sputtering. I will never buy these plugs again, picture looks like it's OEM but I doubt it is. FoMoCo is not OEM!

2007 ford expedition misfire fix-All signs point to real OEM part.
Fixed the stutter/ transmission slip feeling when the 2007 ford expedition would be going up hill or under a load around 70 mph. I pulled them off and found water had gotten int the top of cylinder 1. Swaped them all out for good measure and the problem went away. They came in factory Motorcraft bags and apear to be OEM in every way. Would order again but hope I don't have too.
