Worked well to extend control system
We needed to extend a commercial lighting control system between modules. They are RS-232 and the distance was too long.This worked well and was straight forward to set up. It is self powered though external power supplies, this way it can just pass data lines. You only need 3 conductors.It was convenient having screw terminals in addition to jacks to make hook up easier.
