Smith & Cult Lip Gloss

Creamy consistency, doesn't have any discernible taste, long lasting. The Now Kith color is a nude mauve tone and a nice neutral which is flattering and goes well with everything. For those folks who are trying to picture the color it is definitely a cool tone, no warm notes at all though there is a bit of beige/brown giving it the nude tone overall. It is more of a light to medium color and my skin tone is in the same range of being a cooler tone hence why it seems to be the perfect nude for me. It definitely looks brown in the container though looks more mauve when I apply at work. I like the idea that it could be versatile and either/or for those two colors. I also got the One Word Chorus which is a rosey mauve color which seems to be right in the middle of warm and cool pink tones. It might have a little shimmer but barely discernible once applied. I don't like too much frost and shimmer in my gloss. These glosses are just as good as those which cost so much more, esp. for its durability. I avoid gloss that disappears on me and these barely needed to be reapplied during the work day. The consistency is smooth yet substantial - they may feel a little heavy if you like a very thin gloss layer over a lipstick. If you see the Smith and Cult products in the stores, you will notice the caps have a little dent in them on purpose and so do the the nail polish caps which are more obvious due to a very large cap size. Other reviews mention people had problems opening the containers though I had none myself. If you look at the pictures here and any online reviews elsewhere, it is pretty obvious the caps have little divots in them. Suppose is considered to be artsy.

I had received a sample size of this color once from a store and used it often. I usually don’t spend a huge amount on cosmetics (sticking to drugstore brands for things like lipstick) - but wanted to splurge for Christmas. This is a super flattering color and so long lasting. I love having this in my purse to apply when I just want to feel a little put together but not over-the-top. Highly recommend !

I've been a fan of the Pink It Over gloss by Origins for over a decade. This is an adequate doppelganger for that slightly-glittery pink tint, without the minty-ness of the Origins gloss.The packaging is pretty, but the bottle required real effort for me to open it for the first time. I actually have marks on the cap from the grip I needed to exert to twist it. Kind of ruins the effect...But, then, I buy lip gloss for moisture in cold weather, and, of course, to make my lips look pretty. On these counts, Smith and Cult succeeds.

Color is gorgeous. It's a bit tacky, but not sticky. I'd hoped it was slicker, but was prepared.Yes, I knew the cap was dented by design, and it looks cool. It was, however, very hard to open. It also seems designed not to close all the way down.I probably won't get another one, but I intend to use this one and it's not a waste of money. Just not *quite* what I wanted.

The media could not be loaded. Longevity , beautiful,. But top of lipgloss was bent hard time to twist it. I will keep it. Needs better packaging.

Not sure why the people reviewing this product aren’t smart enough to see its part of the tube design. Why would you give this amazing product 1 star because you can’t figure out its the design. Anyway, such an amazing product and color. I have 4 tubes of this, it’s a perfect pale pink without washing you out. I’ve used this for a year now and can’t find anything like it! But this you’ll love it! Literally the perfect shade of pink.

Looks great! Light and not sticky. I've had a problem getting lipstick/gloss in colors that are flattering on me (I have dark hair but the skin of a redhead-- thanks dad!). I was apprehensive to spend this kind of money on a lip gloss when I could not actually see the color in person. WOW! I was pleasantly surprised. Once this tube is out I will definitely be buying more. Plumps up your lips and stays on practically all day. I think One Word Chorus is my new signature color. Thanks!

I love these so much. This color is light and gorgeous. I bought one as a gift too. S&C also has really good quality nail polishes that don’t chip easily on natural nails, I love this entire line! The caps are intentionally dented, it’s not damaged.
