It is a cute little fine mesh strainer it is a little smaller than what I thought it would be. But it works great. As long as you clean it as soon as you're done using it you will have no problem

Obviously haven't used it for an extended period of time, so can't speak on longevity. But overall, the mesh is small enough to catch ground coffee while also letting liquids through. Made of sturdy material, this is safer to use than a plastic strainer, especially with hot liquids. Gifted it to my mother after throwing away her "favorite strainer" and she is super happy with it.

its a strainer. lol. it keeps the muddled debris out of my cocktail!

Works perfectly for pour over coffee. I fill a glass measuring cup to 12oz, heat in microwave, then pour >1T of coffee into the hot water and set the timer for three minutes. Finally, I pour the coffee/water through the strainer into my coffee cup. No plastic involved and very easy to clean.

Very sturdy, the handle is long enough. I use it for ground tea.
