I got this for my daughter who drinks hot tea's. It was a little pricey but when it arrived it was clear the quality was high and it was worth the price. The strainer inside is awesome. When your done steeping your tea you just lift it out. It's so easy to clean. We have a cat that likes to knock things off the counter. He knocked off and broke the strainer. I order another cup from this same company and while it isn't the exact same one, the strainer works in both cups. Now my daughter can use both. I highly recommend this item.

When this mug first arrived, it was broken. I asked for a return and they sent a new one right away, and took care of the return shipping with UPS. The whole transaction was painless. I am very satisfied with their level of customer service. The new mug arrived two days after the first one. I hadn't even sent the broken one back yet. The mug is beautiful. I love the glaze.. I love the shape of the mug, and most of all, I LOVE the handle. Often mugs have horrible handles that are too small, or trap your fingers. The open design of this mug is just brilliant. It is comfortable and leaves no chance for finger trapping. Another bonus, It actually works with my coffee warmer. Most ceramic mugs don't. I always have to use my steel cup to keep my coffee hot. Not so with this mug. I sipped some tea for over an hour and the tea stayed hot. That means that the design successfully transfers the heat from the warming plate up into the cup. None of my other ceramic mugs do that. So, yeah! I love that.

I'm not a nit-picker. If I like something, and it works well I'm happy look over any small cons. However, this Tea mug has one particular drawback everyone should be aware of, that I didn't think about when purchasing. The accompanying tea infuser is made out of ceramic with a metal strainer - and works well. However it is so thick and large, when you pull it out of the cup, you easily lose a couple ounces of water due to its displacement. I mean, I will fill it to the top with water, but when I remove the infuser, the water level drops down to almost half a mug.I'm going experiment with a tea ball or infuser spoon and see how they stack up. Otherwise, the quality of the tea mug is top notch, and doesn't have any real flaws.

Cup looks and functions as product described. Very happy with my purchase.

The top part of the wooden handle does fall off but u can just click it back on. In love with this cup

Love this cup. It is fragile though so be aware of that and handle with extra care.I broke a chip off, it got a crack and the handle fell off. But I still bought another one.This one I will hand with a lot more tlc.Update: The ceramic part that attaches the wood handle to the cup broke off while it was in my hand.This is my third and last cup with this vendor. Three broken mugs after such careful care.Hat to leave such a poor review, but avoid this cup
