Q: The three way one pack option does that mean the one pole has three individual switches?

No. If you have a single light/fixture that can be turned on/off from more than one switch, you need a three-way switch in order to accommodate that type of operation. It does not mean there are three separate switches. A two-way switch is for a single switch to turn a light on and off. A three way switch allows you to turn a light on from one switch, but turn it off from another switch.

Q: The description says 1-pack for $5.87 or whatever - but does not indicate that the pack has 10 in it! I need 2 switches - not sure what to order.

Its one switch I believe for 5.87. 10 pack is $27.86.
