Worked great! Made al pastor for the first time recently and was very happy with how this vertical skewer worked. It is sturdy and doesn't tip over, even when rotating to baste the meat. I lined it with foil beforehand to make sure it was easy to clean. Of course some baste and meat juice seeped through, but it all cleaned off well in the dishwasher. I will probably order another one so I can make twice as much next time!

Ok, I have always wanted something like this for when I make my Gyro meat but never really looked for one.When I came across this one I decided to just get it and see how it is.It's not very big and honestly kind of cheaply made. The metal is thin and the middle post just screwed into the bottom so is kind of flimsy.It does give me ideas on what want in the end so that's a plus. The price isn't terrible but I definitely would not purchase it as my first option. It's just okay and will work, just not the best.
