I bought these a little over a year ago and I’ve used them around 35 times for sparring. They have really good padding and fit well and comfortably. They don’t slide much during use and I’m very happy with them. Quality construction and materials. Two thumbs up.

These SP5 Shin Guards, also known as the Fairtex "Competition Shin Guards" are a fantastic product for athletes of any level.Although they look bulky in the photos, they're actually very tight-fitting & slim; while still having ample protection. I feel very safe with these on while sparring. Sure, you get the occasional brawler that will kick with the power of 7-suns. But for the average spar & pad work, these are perfect.If you'd like, you can opt for the SP7, which offers a little more protection but with notable bulk. If you plan on doing any MMA work, I wouldn't go larger than the 5's. If you are not aware, the "SP" stands for "Shin protection"; the higher the numbers, the greater the protection.Overall, I don't have anything bad to say about these. They're great for the price and suitable for athletes at any level. I see everyone from beginners to pros using these, and it's not hard to see why!(5/5)

Bought these as my first shin guards shortly after starting Muay Thai. I initially considered buying some of the cheaper guards (Venum and the other cheaper brands) but opted against it as I wanted something that would actually stand up to heavy use and sparring over a longer period of time.My first impression was, that they were very bulky, but after trying them on and actually using them for sparring - my opinion changed.These are great! They stay put during hectic sparring, also when checking kicks, moving around and - if my opponents give me the chance - also when landing a kick on your sparring partners.I have used mine for 3 weeks by now and not a single sign of use. Just wipe them down with a damp cloth and let them dry thoroughly after use, and I suspect that these can last several years.A quick word on sizing:I am 182 cm, 93 kg - ordered size Large, and it fits perfectly with the top of the guard ending a few cm below my kneecap.Recommended!

J’utilise 5 jrs / 7 par semaine toute l’année et ça tiens tjrs, ça respire bien donc ça sèche pour le lendemain et la mousse reste tjrs efficace. Léger, souple et solide à la fois
