It is indeed waterproof, tested it with freezing rain and it worked well. The size is a little baggy if only the coat is worn, but if a jacket is worn underneath it it does fit well, it almost seems the loose fitting was a feature and not a bug allowing versatility.If you want a super tight fit you may need to adjust size accordingly, I wear between 1x and 2x depending on who is measuring, I ordered a 2x, and it has plenty of room for Jacket and other gear under the coat.

I read some negative things about this brand not being what they used to be. Still gave it a shot and I think the quality is still good. My husband was very happy! Only advice is don’t size up.y husband usually wears x-large jackets but it was very oversized on him. I requested to send it back that same day and got a size Large and it fits perfect.

So, I'm a big guy. Six foot six and 275 pounds. It's hard for me to find any clothing that fits. Gloves, socks, shirts, jackets, whatever. They are all too small and too tight. So I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy this Duster really is. I needed something really waterproof to keep me dry on my motorcycle. It's a really big dual sport BMW so there is lots of room unlike the sports bikes. I needed a waterproof outer layer to wear on the outside of my heavy leather jacket. I tried several different "Rain" jackets and they either were completely porous or they ripped to shreds at 100mph. Not this Duster! It truly is 100% waterproof regardless of how bad the storm is and how fast I'm riding. Only two minor changes; I had to remove the shoulder cover because it would have blown off, and second, I had to tie knots in the leg straps to make them hold tight around my legs. No other jacket or coat is as waterproof as this Duster, not even the $1,000 Belstaff waxed cotton jacket.I guess you can tell that I was super impressed with this coat.

This duster is the best one I've bought it is very well made and it works as advertised. Waterproof and will keep you warm in the winter.

I like the heavy oil leather feel can’t wait to see how it works for a rain/snow. I originally ordered a larger size but found out it was to large the seller took the return without any issues. I then bought the size that the size chart suggested. Fits perfectly.
