WORKS JUST AS EXPECTED
Works just fine. Does exactly what I bought it for. To connect 2 lines and extend about 6 inches

Works for undetachable shotgun mic cable
Works well. I bought it to extend my shotgun mic off of my camera onto a separate stand to get the mic closer to the subject and this worked perfectly. Saved me money, I thought I was going to have to buy a new shotgun mic w a detachable cable but this solved it all. I don’t usually leave lengthy reviews but I’m hoping this review helps others because I didn’t find many that addressed this concern of using it for a mic when I was shopping around. Though, I will say, be mindful of your ring count. If your mic has two rings on the cable tip make sure your extension has two, not one or three. If the ring count term confuses you, basically just use your eyes and make sure the patterns of the tips/male end of your mic cable and your extension cable match. If they don’t match then it likely won’t work or at best you’ll have to “Jimmy rig” it.

Works but not good when moving
This cable works but I notice if it moves too much the sound cuts in and out. It probably wouldn't be good if it will move a lot but it works great if stationary. I use it at my desk so it doesn't move a lot and it works fine for that purpose.

Great product and price
I ran this from my home stereo for the surround sound. 50 foot was a little much but there was no drop in the sound quality. now I can stay up at night and listen to the TV or the music and not keep her by in the house up. It also helps if you got a good headset my preference is bose. I've had the same headset for over 15 years and they're very reliable and I figured I would get some distortion going through 50 foot of wire but it was clear as a bell.
