Okay, you could just take your old Farkel set and paint one side to make it "spicy," but we did that, and then opted to spring for the actual dice. Believe me, it really is worth the $10 or so. My mom kept gushing about how much she liked the feel and action of these dice (they are the kind that have slightly rounded edges), and they have good weight. Also, this version of the game is great because you can have REALLY dramatic swings in who is winning. Our high roll stands at 19500! Obviously, you could use the spicy dice to play the classic version of the game as well, so go SPICY! This game is also very easy to learn for little kids and a great chance for everyone to practice their math skills :)

I think this is a great twist on normal farkle. It makes the stakes higher by being able to double scores and it has a way to automatically win the game. No one has been able to do that yet but we are trying. It was a great addition to our games as we are collecting the different farkles.

Great game! It puts an exciting spin on regular FARKLE. Fun & Easy to learn. Everyone will want to play. We play this when we want a quick game to play on Game night! I have purchased many sets to give as gifts!Highly recommend.

Our family has had a blast playing the original farkle for some time. This was a really fun twist on the game. I do wish the rules were a little bit clearer on scoring for this one. Other than that it has been a lot of fun.

We have several versions of farkle and this is our favorite! It's so much fun to get huge points from the doubling red die faces. The dice are beautiful and high quality in a sturdy container with felt bottom. Great for large groups and easy to teach.

I saw this when purchasing the regular Farkle as a Christmas gift and thought this would also be a great gift for a friend that I regularly farkle with! She called me the day after Christmas and said she absolutely loved the new game. It was easy to learn and her family who are all gamers, really enjoyed the different version! I will have to buy it for myself now!!

I always loved dice games growing up and never heard of frackle till we were on a cruise last year and needed stuff to do. We really enjoy the game and it is easy to travel with it. I would recommend it. It is a great cheap gift that is fun. Could even be a holiday stocking stuffer. We learned on the original and actually play the spicy version about 1/3 the time of the original. But with this set you can do both.
