Magician Kid's Plush Costume Hat with Rabbit - Soft Velvet Hat with Adjustable Fit

I stumbled upon this hat on Amazon while looking for magic kits for my husband and almost 5 year old daughter. What a good purchase!!! Babygirl loves her magic hat! It's a tall hat, sure, but you can't pull stuffed animals out of a tiny hat! The trick is really simple and actually doesn't look too fake when being performed. The bunny it comes with is adorable, but our daughter promptly traded the rabbit for her small stuffed Elmo and any of her 'babies' that fit in the secret compartment. This is one of those awesome toys that is virtually unbreakable too. The hat is a soft, velvety fabric and the bunny is soft and plush as well and is able to stick to the brim of the hat with the attached velcro for a bit of sass when performing other tricks. Both seem quite well made. It's about at the max I would pay around $20, but if your child likes magic, it's a winner!

Having recently seen a magic show and watched an older friend do tricks, my 4 1/2 year old son expressed a strong interest in doing "magic" and he wanted a magic kit. Unfortunately, he didn't completely understand that the "magic" he'd observed was illusion rather than the real deal. I searched for tricks he could perform that would be simple enough for him to learn and also have a "wow" factor for his audience of preschool and kindergarten friends. This hat, with its included hidden rabbit, exactly fits the bill. He LOVES it. Not only does he make the rabbit disappear and reappear, but he also does magic with lots of little things around the house (matchbox cars, legos, etc. disappear and reappear). The hat itself is sturdy and well-made with an adjustable band inside to accommodate various head sizes. Magic aside, the hat also serves as a wonderful "dress-up" accessory. Can't say enough about this toy. Highly recommend it!

My 3 year-old had a magician come to his preschool and since then, loves to play magician. I bought this for Christmas not too sure what I would get. It's beautiful. It's nicely sewn with soft black velour. The little rabbit is nice quality as well and the 'magic' pouch he goes into is easy to access and I'm sure my son will have no problem manipulating it. You are also able to adjust the size to fit your kids head. A great find and I can't wait to see his face Christmas morning! You won't be disappointed.

I ordered this hat for my 3 1/2 yr old son for their school Halloween party/parade. I was so glad I went with this costume as he were the only one wearing it! It was something convenient for him to put on and take off by himself while in class. The other great thing is that a few days later, I was able to wear it as well for my own Halloween gathering! This hat is well built and I can see it lasting for years and years to come. It's great that there's an elastic inside that makes it adjustable and the bunny is indeed a cute addition and gives it more character! It may be pricier than other magician hats out there but in my opinion, it was worth the extra money given the quality of this product.

What a wonderful toy. It is easy to manipulate and no other complicated directions are needed.My son who is six can make magic happen with this hat. He can make anything small dissapear and show up again easily. My daughter age four easily makes things go away and come back with this hat.The hidden pocket is impossible to see unless you stick your head in the hat yet it is very easy to feel with your hands. Adults can easily put their hand in this hat's secret hole as can little children. It is well made and has put up with lots of use and wear.This is a fun toy. It is well worth the money.Enjoy.

This was a last-minute purchase for a 5-year-old who couldn't decide what he wanted to be for Halloween. (LOVE PRIME.) It turned out to be surprisingly well constructed with great details. The bunny comes off and on easily thanks to Velcro, and it can be stashed inside the hat in a separate compartment so you can really pull a rabbit out of your hat! The hat size is also adjustable via Velcro (and it fit my son's head great). The only downsides was that the ribbon sash was a little loose and got a little stuck on the Velcro, and if you want a true top hat this one may be too squishy, but we got nothing but compliments this Halloween!

My nephew (7) loved it and so did my daughter (4). They had fun hiding other objects in it too. He wanted a magic set for his birthday and loves this hat. It is great for imaginative play and is of great quality. The hat and bunny have lasted and held up well even after 2 years. The play value of this item is worth it and I think this would make a great gift for dress up and to go along with magician sets.

OK, the hat does give off a Mad Hatter vibe vs traditional magician/top hat BUT the novelty of hiding the bunny and making it appear is worth it. Good quality and fun to play with - totally worth it.
